ITZBEEN TImer is Great!
Date - December 1, 2008
"I purchased the ITZBEEN Timer shortly after my daughter was born. It's great for keeping track of feedings and diaper changes. In addition, it is very useful to give to babysitters/daycare to track feedings etc. I would recommend this product to all mothers. It's wonderful!"

Useful and Easy to Use
Date - February 20, 2010
"I was given this by a friend who had used it and really liked the product. I mainly used it for feedings and found it easy to use and much less work then filling out timesheets like I was doing the first week I brought my daughter home. My only con for this product is that it resets after 24 hours - my daughter didn't have a BM daily and I wanted to be able to keep track of her dirty diapers but wasn't really able to do so. However, I do recommend the product, for the price it is a so useful for new and tired parents."

Great product to keep you on schedule!
Date - October 20, 2009
"This product helped us so much when we first brought our baby home! It is so hard to stay on top of things especially when it is your first. It made it so much easier to know exactly how long it had been since he nursed and what side I fed him on. It is definitely a must for all new parents!"

Absolutely essential!
Date - October 20, 2009
"I honestly don't know how we would have made it through the first few months without this timer! It seems like such a simple thing, but when you're exhausted or when there are multiple people helping out with feedings and changing, it's amazing how hard it is to keep track of how long "itzbeen". Although we've gradually stopped using it since my daughter turned 6 months, I still use it religiously for timing my pumping sessions. Such a great invention!"

Helpful but not a must have
Date - October 20, 2009
"I liked this product, but really wanted to love it. It does a great job of telling you how long you've had a kiddo asleep or how long it has been since you last fed your baby... but I found that what I quickly needed was an overall count. As in, how many naps, how many feedings, etc. This is indeed a well made product that I would recommend, but it is not at all a must have in my book."

I wanted to like this product more than I do
Date - October 20, 2009
"At the beginning of a baby's life, you need to see, not only the time that you last did something, but also the pattern over a day. This only logs the time since the baby last ate, or slept, where I wanted to see the total number of times he ate or the total amount of sleep that he got."

Keeps you sane

"I loved this little gadget since when I had my baby, first too, so it was overwhelming to keep up with all the feedings, changing diapers etc. Even when I left the baby with my husband or a babysitter, this little gadget helped them extremely to keep up with the schedule."

Super invention
Date - November 20, 2008
"I wish I had one of these with my first two. It has kept me on track with my baby's schedule. It is easy to get off track with 3 kids 4 and under. It has been a lifesaver! I especially like being able to tell which side I last nursed on. With so many other things going one that is one less thing to remember!"

Would have gone insane without it
Date - October 24, 2008
"We had twins. For the first month, we would SURELY have gone (more) insane without this item. it helped us keep on schedule (there is so little time between feedings at first) and get both of them fed at the same time, as well as plan in between getting ourselves fed and cared for around their natural schedule. We would not have gotten the two babies synchronized without it, and ti also has a little alarm that woke us up at night (over the baby monitor) to keep them fed regularly without changing our own alarm clocks, or letting the babies get so hungry that they got hysterical with hunger crying to wake us.
In the beginning, we used a combination of the timer and the babies' behavior to make sure they got fed and changed and sleep when THEY needed it, without going too long in between. After a little while, the babies really were pretty predictable because we had been consistent with their daily care. The timer was able to serve as a reminder for us to keep on the schedule the babies needed. It's very easy to get caught up with other things if you just wait until the babies cry to indicate they are hungry or wet.
The babies both started sleeping for 7 hours straight after 2 months, and at 3.5 months, they have slept 12 hours with only 1 feeding at night. now at 5 months, they sleep 12 hours at night without a feeding. THIS MEANS WE SLEEP TOO!!!
I really believe this timer helped us keep track of the babies needs enough that we could assess their natural schedule and stick to it, as well as anticipate when their daily feeding needs would be.
We don't use it all day all the time anymore, but I am 100% sure that if we had NOT used this little timer, the babies would be less happy and not be on a regular and predictable schedule for feeding and sleeping."

VERY helpful
Date - October 16, 2008
"I am still pregnant, but after reading the reviews and being a new mother, I know there are going to be some challenges ahead of us. I am planning on breastfeeding and love the feature that allows you to keep track of which breast you last fed from! My husband and I played around with it, and found that it's very easy to use, and we both feel that this gadget is a great invention because it will help us keep track of the important things without stressing about trying to remember. We also think the price is great, for everything it does, it's very affordable."

New Parent's Best Friend
Date - September 17, 2008
"In the early days of sleepless nights, chaos and confusion, this is every parent's best friend. There are no more, "When did the baby last eat?" questions from your husband. The timers keep everyone in the loop and able to help. The fourth timer is especially helpful for medicine so you can be sure to avoid overmedicating your child. The option to have a timer reminder is also helpful once you start (attempting) to put your child on a more established routine. The timer button simply blinks at you when it's time to eat, etc. Great product for a great price."

Must Have
Date - July 8, 2008
"My girlfriend bought this for me. I love it. I write down the time and amount that my daughter eats, but in the middle of the night sometimes I forget. Also when she spends time at Grandma's, the timer shows the last time she was fed and changed. I think it is so great I am ordering it for one of my girlfriends."

Great for Newborn!
Date - May 16, 2008
"I wasn't sure if this product would prove itself handy or not - but with a new baby and trying to remember what day it is - it's great to have this tool to remember which side to begin nursing on, when baby was last changed, etc. I don't plan to use it long term, but a great item to have for a new baby!"

Perfect for the Hazy Days
Date - May 2, 2008
"For the first few weeks before we had this, my husband and I were constantly asking each other "When did you last change and/or feed the baby?" We were truly in a fog. I used the misc. button to help remember when to take my medication (after c-section). The slide tab to remind yourself which side you started nursing on last is also extremely helpful. The nightlight does help so that I don't have to turn on a big light during middle-of-the-night feedings and changings. I would recommend for all new moms (and dads), especially those who are breastfeeding."

Handy in the first couple months
Date - May 1, 2008
"I wish we had gotten this timer earlier, as it is most useful during those first eight weeks or so when you can't yet decipher your baby's cry and are so overwhelmed that it's hard to keep track of when the last time you did what was! Also, if you have a baby who kind of forgets to eat, this is really great. But as your baby gets older, the usefulness decreases.
One feature that would have made this much more valuable for us would be a way to record how much was taken at each feeding. We had to use a notebook on top of this to make sure that our son was getting enough."

Great for Premie
Date - April 10, 2008
"We had a premie and this was great when I was obsessing over him eating at a certain time. After a while and as he grew it became less important to time the feedings and more to go by his hunger signs and the Itzbeen lost its value for us. It was definitely worth it for the first 4 months. And, I imagine I would use it again with a newborn."

Somewhat useful
Date - April 10, 2008
"While it might seem a little silly to need a timer to remind you of when you last fed or changed your baby, but you will be SO tired that you won't know what day it is...so, this really does help for the first couple of weeks. After the first couple of weeks, however, you won't have a use for this. The night light and alarm functions were helpful for middle-of-the night feedings. If you are taking medications (especially after a c-section), it can be REALLY helpful for timing how often to take those, because that will be the last thing on your mind..."
