Simple Design and Functional

"We debated between this and the diaper genie. We decided on the dekor after friends raved about it. I can't imagine they are all too different, but we have been very happy with the Dekor. Smells stay inside and it is very easy to change the bag. I like the simple design and functionality."

Love this, no smell and foot opperated!

"I love this diaper pail. The liners are very easy to use and the pail itself is a pretty good size and only needs to be emptied every 10 days or so of medium use (5-6 diapers/day). The liners are also lightly scented so I never have a diaper smell and we keep this right in our bedroom. You will get a whif when you push the flap down to put the diaper in, but other than that, no stink! The greatest feature is that it is all hands free. Just step on the pedal and the lid opens up and you just toss the diaper through the hatch. What could be simpler?"

"I think this is one of the best diaper pails out there. It will hold at least 20 diapers with little odor. Unlike some other brands, it is very easy to dispose of diapers, just read the instructions. The refills are also less expensive, but the newer ones are thinner than the old ones. Still a very good product, all in all."

Great for cloth diapers too!

"We were looking for a diaper pail which opening would be big enough to fit the size of cloth diapers as they tend to be more bulky than disposables. We liked the hand-free mechanism and the look of this pail. The opening is big enough for our cloth diapers (Bum Genius 3.0) and the bag contains for two days worth of diapers (in between 12-15) which works fine with us as we have to clean them every other day. We needed a dry pail for the BumGenius 3.0 and this one is working very well for us. I had a tough time finding reviews online for cloth diaper pails (which do not need to be open with your hands) and therefore weren't sure when buying this one. But now I can say we are very happy with our purchase. I hope this review helps out family using cloth diapers. They're esay of use and great for the environment."

"We got this one for or first child 5 years ago and has been used constenly sence we have a 2 year old and until this month watched a 1 year old. I love how easy it is and never had a problem at all with smell until the last few months. I am expecting another in a few months and will be getting another. The trick is not to fill to the top. i think i may have bought 4 maybe 5 refills ever what a savings!"

"We bought this diaper pail when we were expecting our first baby. The refill liners for this pail last forever. I'd say we used maybe 6 total liner refills from birth to when he was potty trained. This pail is super easy to use. I will say that once baby gets older and diapers get stinkier, you might want to add the diaper genie. With our second child we bought the diaper genie and used that one solely for dirty diapers. It just does a better job of keeping the stink in. But, the genie isn't an easy open pail, so I still suggest getting this dekor for wet diapers b/c it's super handy. The genie also requires more liner refills if you use it for all diapers. The two together just worked out so nicely for us."

"I am very happy with this as our diaper pail. It does a very good job at controling odor (as well as a bunch of diapers can be controlled). It is also very easy to remove them in the bag and start with a fresh bag. One roll of refill liners lasts quite some time and you get three rolls in a box. We are getting ready for our 2nd baby and we have no intentions of using anything different."

"I purchased this diaper pail and ended up replacing it with a different brand. Though it has some positives (appearance is better than most, foot pedal to open), it's disadvantages outweigh the advantages. The pail is expensive, the refills are expensive (and hard to find), the pail is larger than necessary (do you really want to save up a month of dirty diapers? More likely you will want to empty it before it's full...). There are better, cheaper, and more attractive pails out there with easier to find refills."

"I like the Diaper Dekor for its ease of use. Changing the bags is very quick. I don't think the odor is contained much more than a regular trash can with a lid, but changing the bags often is key. You don't have to feel badly about that because you can make them as big or small as you'd like. This seems easier to use than the alternatives, and now they sell biodegradable bags."
