Actually stays in place!
"With two boys in one room, we do what we can to maximize floor and table space. So, all lighting has become mounted in one form or another. I bought this online then kicked myself because I assumed that the clip would not be strong enough to keep the lamp in place and it would then wiggle off and fall on someone's head. Well, that didn't happen and not because my son didn't try to dislodge it by bending the goose-neck every which way. In addition, it has a slightly retro, clunky-cool charm and it's easy to change the light bulb since it doesn't require a fancy halogen or special size bulb. Basically, it does what it says it will and looks good doing it."

Clip Ate My Furniture
"I am typically a big fan of Land of Nod products, from furniture to decorations to toys. These look cute and could be functional lighting for our brand new bunk bed/desk system. The clips dug into the furniture and has "eaten" the wood in under a week. The padding in the clip does not do the job..."

Nice colored reading lamp
"We have this on our daughters bed frame. It's perfect for reading at night and then reaching over to turn off the lamp! Comes in great colors you cannot find at other retailers. Decently priced."

convenient reading lamp
"I bought this for my son who sleeps on the top bunk, and needed a lamp for reading in bed. He was so excited to see this lamp clipped right on his bed. It has helped him to read more often. It functions well, easy to adjust the neck of the lamp."
