Best Castle I Found
"My son wanted a castle for his birthday and after searching all over online I decided this one was the best product and best price. We are very happy with it. It's very solid and nicely made, the wood is smooth, and the size fits perfectly with the knight and dragon (also purchased from LON) and with existing knights we already had. I love the drawbridge feature and the two flights of stairs which can be positioned anywhere you want. There is plenty of scope for the imagination! My 5-year-old insisted on sleeping with this in his range of sight as soon as he got it. :)
If I could improve two things about this product, I'd have a mechanism for keeping the portcullis up once it's raised (if you want it out, you just have to remove it fully and set it out of the way), and I am also considering using some kind of glue to keep the pieces together. They can sometimes slide apart during play--nothing too terrible as they fit back together easily, but glue might be the way to go if my son continues to be frustrated by it.
One other note: the string that raises and lowers the drawbridge gets tangled up sometimes, but is pretty easy to untangle; it requires adult help at our house, though."
