"Cute clock and I love the top swinging crossing sign, but you don't have to use it. The hands can get loose, but it is easily fixable. Not a clock for playing with. The ticking is subtle, so it shouldn't be a problem at nap time."

"I bought this clock for my 3 year old son's train room. It is a little expensive but worth it. The train theme and moving pendulum is great. Nicely made and original. Handle with care; our first one the pendulum arm was broken. LON was wonderful and replaced it immediately! I like the fact that he is learning to tell time with hands, not digital."

"Our son has an antique, travel theme in his room, so this clock was a perfect addition. He also loves trains so this was an added bonus. Very unique item, which is what I love about the land of nod."

Nice but...

"This is an adorable clock, but not very durable. The crossing sign broke as we took it out of the box and then the minute hand fell off as well. Both were fixable, and the clock works fine now, but must be handled with care!"

"My husband works for the railroad so our little twin boys have a built in fascination with locomotives. We accented their room with train themed things - the lighting and this clock. It's a hit!"
