"We just received this rug in the mail a week ago and it is GORGEOUS!! The pictures online just don't do it justice! It is so think and plush and I can't wait for our little boy to be old enough to play on it! My husband especially can't wait because it is a blank canvas ready to make a child creative and make their own towns! The streets were so wide, what a great surprise!"

"Another gift purchased off the registry. We just love this rug. It fits perfectly in front of our son's crib and completes the transportation motiff in hi room. It's surprising plush. Now that our son is mobile and playing in his room, we've put toy cars out for him to explore and play with on the rug. I think we have as much fun playing with them as he does. Thanks!"

Fun and Soft

"We purchased this rug almost two years ago for our two girls who love cars, trucks, trains. . . They have a lot of fun playing on it and the rug has retained its softness. Very comfortable to play on and lie on. The one tip we received from the salesperson in the store was to be sure the vaccuum was on the highest possible setting in order to avoid pilling and that has helped tremendously."

Warning! Too much fun!

"My son absolutely loves this rug! It doubles as a play mat--a stylish one at that! The only downside...I am never allowed to vacuum because the cars are all in special places (and trust me, he will know if I moved them!). Not only is it a fun playmat, but it is also well-constructed and super comfy! This rug will be with us for a long time!!"

gorgeous but pills up!

"I lvoe the look of this rug and my son loved driving his cars on it, but honestly, it pilled up a lot more than i expected. and it KEPT pilling up, after numerous once-overs with a damp cloth, after vaccuuming, after months of living with it, i woudl find little dustbunnies of blue fuzz in teh corners of my son's room and on his clothes if he'd been laying o n it. I contacted LON and they sent me a new one and had me send that one back. the new one was slightly better but still, more pilling than i'd like from such a high-quality rug."

"When this area rug came in, it was packaged so well. When I opened it, I could see why it was packaged so well, what a BEAUTIFUL rug!! So plush and thick, super nice underneath my kids toes. They instantly started playing cars on the "roads" - it is a hit! Well worth the money and cross border shopping, highly recommend it."

Stretch out and play!

"I searched forever to find a high quality rug (at a great price, naturally) that was graphically bold but not fussy. This rug has been perfect for my son and his wonderful imagination. He eats, sleeps, breathes cars all day long, and loves to stretch out and park his many vehicles on these roads. Other play rugs are too fussy, with ugly colors and too many garish buildings and parking lots. He has had it since he was 2, and it will transition beautifully to a big boy room and beyond. It is well constructed and doesn't smell like chemicals either!"

"I bought the 3x5 rug for my son's room to match the Dept. of Trans. bedding....and it completes the room! I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the rug once I received it, too. "I was skeptical about buying something so important as my son's rug online; that's usually the sort of item I like to see in person to be sure the color is right and the quality is there. Plus, who doesn't like to feel a rug before spending a couple hundred dollars on it? You don't need to worry with this rug. I built an entire boy's nursery around it and it not only looks good, but it's also very durable. I've only had it for six months, but I believe it will stand up to years and years of us rolling around and playing on it. I'm looking forward to pushing matchbox cars around on it and hearing my son make all those car motor noises that boys have an inborn ability to make!"
