Worth the money
"I purchased this rug for my 3 year old's room about 6 months ago. I researched lots of rugs - several of which were cheaper, but ended up picking this one because of the great reviews and the fact that it wasn't overly 'kiddy' and will grow with him. I am so glad I spent the extra money on this one... after 6 months of cars running over it, it still looks brand new! I have had rugs from other companies that have snagged with much less play time. This rug is extremely high quality and I'm sure will last for a long long time. Well worth the money!"

Great Rug!
"I bought this for my 4 yr old grandson's room (when he visits). He loves it! He pulls out his cars and runs thems all over the rug. The rug is nice and thick. I bought the 3' x 5' size to put in front of his toy shelves and it's the perfect size."

My Husband wishes it was in our room!
"We just received this rug in the mail a week ago and it is GORGEOUS!! The pictures online just don't do it justice! It is so think and plush and I can't wait for our little boy to be old enough to play on it! My husband especially can't wait because it is a blank canvas ready to make a child creative and make their own towns! The streets were so wide, what a great surprise!"

"I began my search for the perfect carpet by purchasing a sample. The sample allowed me to check for color and durability. I placed an order directly because of the sample and I am so pleased with the purchase! My grandson loves moving his cars, trucks, and even train cars on this great carpet. I highly recommend it!"

Good Purchase
"We looked at a bunch of different rugs, but chose this one because of its interactive nature. We were a bit concerned about the pilling mentioned in the other reviews, but have found it to not be bad so far; although it does pill a little bit. Overall, we are pretty happy with the rug and think it was worth the money. It also has a lot of colors in it, so is easier to match with many different colored rooms."

Love Rug
"More muted tones than pictured, but gorgeous rug that will grow with my 5 year old for a few more years. If his friends say "I love your rug" you know you've got a hit. Cons, it sheds a bit, but what rug doesn't? Love the colors, even though a little less vibrant than I expected. Went for the 5 x 8, just seemed better in his room and more room to PLAY!"

Cute, well-constructed, design could be better
"My husband picked out this rug for our baby boy's room. He was really excited to find a rug that would be useful not just as a rug, but also in the future as something the baby can play cars on. When the rug arrived, it is beautifully constructed and looks really nice on the floor, however the roads are obviously only meant to be decorative, because they don't really make sense. It's not a big deal to me, I figure the kid won't know the difference when he's playing on it, but my husband was a little disappointed that they weren't more realistic. Otherwise, I think it's a great rug. :)"

Very soft and looks great but not as bright
"We bought this to fill out our son's playroom. I love the rug overall. However we were surprised that the colors are a lot less bright than they appear online. They are a completely different tone and lighter but not pastel (thankfully! - I didn't want pastels).
The softness and fun-ness of playing with trucks in the floor sold us on it.
I do notice the rug is shedding some fuzz... I sat down on it with black pants and stood up with lots of fuzz all over. Not a good idea!
However, the rug has plenty of time to de-fuzz since my son is only 2 mo old. If you are buying this for a child ready to play on it, be prepared for him to be covered in fuzz for at least the first year of vacuuming every other week... The more you vacuum, obviously the quicker it will defuzz."

Plush and practical
"We bought this rug in 2009 and were surprised at how thick and plush it was. The colors are not as vibrant as in the photos here (which we prefer, since it is in our living room). Despite having a car/road theme that the kids love, it is subtle and actually adds to our living room decor. Visitors hardly notice that it doubles as a play rug. We didn't have problems with piling as others have mentioned (we vacuum it every two weeks), but we have noticed a fine white powder left underneath it (that we see when it is lifted off the floor) that we believe is released from the backing/adhesive of the rug. I wish this could be remedied. From online searches, it sounds like this is not uncommon, but that prevents me from giving this rug a 5-star review. Otherwise, it has held up very well, and looks as new as the day we bought it. Well-priced for the plush wool quality."

Beautiful rug!
"Bought this rug about 6 months ago and could not be happier! The initial 'shedding' that wool rugs do only lasted about 2 weeks. The colors are great- very neutral and great transitional colors from baby to big boy. We will get many happy years from this rug! :)"

Great rub
"I bought this for my son's room. He loves it - pulled the cars off his shelf and started driving them on the rug (though not the roads...he's only 17 months old). Very soft. Vacuums easily, does not shed. Rug pad not needed."

Plush and adorable!
"Great thick, soft feel and gorgeous colors that match great with my 5 year old's medium blue walls. He loves it as much as I do. Definitely need a rug pad, though, as it slips and slides all over on his hardwood floor (forgot to buy one). Yes, it sheds, but not that bad and already seems much better after only a few weeks. Really happy with this purchase!!"
