Perfection...
"It really is. My daughter loves it and the melody is charming. This is one of those classic things every little girl has had and needs from childhood. It is very sweet and very nice. My daughter just loves it! A great first jewelry box..."

really cute
"I bought this little jewelry box for my only granddaughter. The music starts and the little ballerina begins turning as soon as you open it. I bought this for her 4th birthday this weekend so I haven't gotten to see her reaction yet. I think she'll love it. I don't think the age appropriateness will be a problem."

Very Sweet
"Very sweet ballerina jewelry box, just like I had when I was little. My daughter loves to wind it up and watch her twirl. The baby already pulled the ballerina off, but she just pops right back on, so no biggie. The other thing is that the little clasp bent and isn't super sturdy, but they're not real pearls inside so I'm not to worried about that. :)"

Great music box and the price is super
"I looked at music boxes in a competitor store that were small, made of flimsy wood and cost $50. I couldn't justify the price for such poor quality, so i looked on websites and found most music boxes to be even pricier. The reviews here were good, so I bought 3 of these for Xmas and they are great! We have not had the quality issues that some of the other reviewers had. I feel they are quite well made and the chocolate wiped off of the fabric interior with just water. The music is Swan Lake, I think, and since
they are in ballet class they love the dancers on the top of the lid."

poor quality
"this is poorly made-looks like its from a dollar store--very disappointed- the outside of the box is horrible, the inside ballerina is fine. bought for gifts-too embarrased to give, had to return them(bought 2)

Poor quality
"I was really excited to recieve this item. It arrived today and when I opened it, I was so very dissapointed. It seems very cheaply made, the ballerina arrived snapped in half, the mechanism that you turn to create music is WAY off allignment in the back hole that you can barely turn it. I will be returning this product for more than the fact than it arrived broken. Would work for just everyday play but not something they are going to hang onto for years to come, but, you get what you pay for and this is $15."

Not as Pictured
"I now wish that there was a picture of the top of the jewelry box, when it is shut. From looking at the pictures it seems that it would be covered in flowers but the top has a picture of ballerinas on it. This is not a bad thing but not as pictured! I probably would have chosen a different box, something a little more "cute"."

perfect 1st music box
"Bought 2 of these boxes for my daughters last Christmas and they loved them (so did mom). The melody is charming and it's just about the same box I recieved as a child. I will be buying another for my niece this Christmas. My daughters have more necklaces/bracelets now then the jewerly box can hold, so we just use it for "special" items!"

cheaply made product
"My 4 year old daughter LOVED this gift. HOWEVER, the ballerina broke in half 2 hours after I gave it to her! I would recommend the music box IF YOU DON'T PLAN TO USE IT."

A little girl's dream!
"I bought this jewelry box as a Christmas present for my three year old daughter. I researched many other sites and loved this one at Land of Nod. It is exactly what I would have wanted as a little girl. It is classic and beautiful. I was so excited when it arrived. It is not only a beautiful box, but it is very sturdy too. Perfect for little hands
"I purchased this for my 5 year-old. At first, I was dissapointed with the material- didn't expect the composite. Also, I expected a porcelain ballerina - but it worked out beautifully. My daughter handles all her jewelry and her box, and I don't worry about her breaking or dropping it. She enjoys playing and being a "big girl" and not have to ask mommy for help. Very adorable for "My first jewelry box.""
