Family favorite for Years

"I actually had my own Sophie as a baby and every baby in our family has had one of their own thanks to our French roots. Both my girls have their own and I always give Sophie out for baby gifts.
I have never come across a baby who hasn't grown attached to their Sophie. This simple toy satisfies all five senses: contrasting colors and an identifiable face; a squeaky sound to attract attention; ears, horns, and legs (even nose and neck) to chew on; soft, smooth, and flexible for little fingers; even a distinctive (pleseant) smell! This toy will be around at least another 60 years. I recommend this to every mother!"

Must Have Teether Toy

"I recently bought this for my 5 1/2 month old daughter. She just loves it. I have bought all sorts of teethers and none of them compare to this one. Sophie the Giraffe stands out as top teether on our list. A must have for every new mom. It is the only teether that I have found that my daughter can actually get in her mouth to reach her back gums. The only problem that I have with this toy is trying to keep it away from our dog who just goes crazy when she hears the squeeky sound. I guess the whole family is happy with this toy."

"I registered for this and my now 10-mo old has loved it and chewed on it from day one. The giraffe legs are the perfect size for little mouths and fingers. Consider this teether as essential to your baby as bedding or bottles. Also bought one for my sister's baby, who also loves it. Seriously, it's magic, you need it."

The Best Teether Around!

"This is by far my 7 month old's favorite teether. His face lights up with smiles when he sees it. It is soft and flexible, perfect size for baby hands and mouth and the non-toxic paint is a huge plus because babies do wear off the paint. We have 3 kids, many teethers, but this is worth 20 of any other kind. WELL worth the money."

"I bought this just because of the rav reviews I had read and boy is it worth every penny! My 5 month old son loves this seemingly simple toy because of all the nubbies to chew on! The neck is perfect for his hands to grasp and hang onto. He loves chewing on the mouth and the nubby ears and then flips it upside down and chews on the legs. I bought it for him at 3 months old and it caught his attention right away. I'd highly recommend this for your child!"

The Simple Things in Life

"When I first saw 'Sophie' highlighted in a magazine I thought, 'hummm ... looks like they are now marketing dog toys for infants.' However, I ran into a woman at the market who's 7 month old was drooling all over this 'sqeek toy.' I asked her about it and she said that her little boy will not go ANYWHERE without it and that it helps keep him busy and happy while she shops. I went home and purchased it right away from Land of Nod. When it arrived, I tore it open and gave it to my 6month old ... she loved it! When my 20 month old saw it, she loved it too! Now to avoid a tug of war, I am purchasing another one. This product is amazing in it's simplicity. ... and it is adorable!"
