Music for Gen X Moms & Pops
"Just because we have kids does not mean that we gave up all our street cred. Same goes for our favorite singers.
This cd is chock full of the singers and bands I've been listening to for years, but singing songs that are geared to please even the youngest indie rocker.
Most of my favorite bands and singers from the 90's are represented here. Toad the Wet Sprocket? Their lead singer, Glen Phillips sings a fun original ditty called "Have a Little Fun With Me." Barenaked Ladies? CAKE? Sarah McLachlan? Guster? Yup. All here.
And who wouldn't want Tom Waits to sing them a lullaby to fall asleep? I know I do."
