Absolutely Lovely

"We bought this poster when our son was in preschool, and he had great fun looking at all the little details then. He's in 4th grade now, and we all still love this piece. The icons are really handy as geographical markers, the colors are attractive on the wall, and the mottoes around the border have helped in more than one homework assignment. Well recommended!"

Cute and Educational

"We received this as a gift a year ago, but just recently furnished our school room. We were so excited to take it out again because it looks great with the primary colors we are using. (Doesn't all the Land of Nod stuff look great together?) My daughter loves putting on the stickers of where she has visited, and we use it all the time when we're reading about something related to the USA (Johnny Appleseed most recently) and need to locate something. I wish I had gotten it framed, because it really is a work of art, but if you want the kids to interact with it, it's too hard to do with a frame. If you purchase it as more of a decorative touch, be sure to frame it!"

"I was looking for something to take up space on the big white wall above the cubbies in our playroom, and this was just perfect. I got it unframed, but I may try to find a frame for it. It's very heavy-duty and high quality, but because there are big windows in the playroom, the light reflects the glossy finish and catch every wave in the poster (I couldn't get it to lay perfectly flat against the wall). I am very pleased with the product, packaging, price, and speed of shipping!"

"This map is WONDERFUL and oh so colorful. We wake up every morning and look at the states. My 2 year old knows where he lives and several surrounding states when asked. I bought it unframed, but strongly recommend buying the framed version. I had mine framed locally and it was a lot more expensive."

"The quality of the map is fantastic and it's easy to read the content and enticing to look at as a resource and as a poster. "I bought this map 6 months ago for our son's room when he was just about a year old. He and my daughter (who is 15 mos. older) absolutely adore looking at the map, pointing out different animals, states, locations, etc. It's actually taught my son words like moose, maple syrup, Canada. This map is a great addition to his room and brings a nice pop of color to his wall!"

"We have loved this colorful map in our playroom! Every sate shows pictures of unique things to that state. "My son is barely 2 and loves this poster-- we framed it ourselves and hung it low on the wall in the playroom at his level. He loves when we quiz him about the icons -- "Can you find a whale?" -- and he likes to point to where we live on the map, though I'm not sure he truly gets it :) It's colorful and filled with so many wonderful details -- any kid from 2 on up to 10 would probably enjoy this map."

CUTE WALL MAP with many great details!

"We are learning about the 50 states so I thought it would be nice to have a large visual for my kindergartner to see, as well as something colorful to decorate a wall with. The colors and illustrations on this map are excellent. The state mottos are in smaller print (alphabetically by state) all around the border of the map. The material is sturdy enough I could hang it on its own, but I'd like to try to find an inexpensive wooden frame to put up on the wall. Land of Nod sent this in a very sturdy thick cardboard poster tube and packing box. I am very impressed by the shipping as well as the products!"

Perfect for the Playroom

"Was looking for something education but somewhat whimsical. This was it! The colors are great in our playroom. We love the icons and all you can learn about each state and its not too overwhelming for my younger kids too learn from too! Every child should have a United States map in one of their rooms. This is a nice decorative and fun alternative to the tradition sterile maps."
