"THESE ARE PERFECT! WE USE THEM FOR HOMESCHOOLING, ALONG WITH JUST PLAYTIME. THEY ARE ALSO GREAT TO LEAVE MESSAGES ON! THEY CAN BE USED BY CHILDREN, OR ADULTS. THEY ARE NEAT TO PUT UP THE NIGHTS MENU OR JUST A FUNNY LITTLE MESSAGE....EVEN A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIGN! THEY CAN BE REALLY FUN. "I purchased these for my kids playroom. I did not want anything permanent like chalkboard paint. I loved how these could be removed or repositioned elsewhere in the house if we wanted to. There are 4 in each kit so together they make a rather large area to write on. These really are cool."

Beware of scratching

"This product rates five stars for the "cool" factor, but the performance is not all that great. I purchased some basic Land of Nod white chalk when I bought this product; but any chalk we have used scratches the surface leaving white lines. I'm not talking about white chalk lines, but lines of damage to the chalkboard surface. It's really cool how these stick to the walls, peel off with no damage and re-stick themselves over and over again. If only the chalk didn't scratch the surface. They are a little pricey for what they are."

"These self-adhesive, repositional chalkboards are great for use anywhere or on anything in your house. I placed them on one of my kitchen walls (since I'm in the kitchen for a hugh chunk of the day) and my kids love them! When erasing chalk, a light amount of dust tends to fall on my molding or floor as there's nothing to catch it. Other than having to watch for chalk dust build up and having to clean it every other day or so, I highly recommend it."

"This doesnt last long. It scratches with every stroke. And I've tried all kinds of chalk. Cant find one that wont scratch it. Not worth the money when its going to be ruined within a month or so.

"I was skeptical when I first bought these, but they really do work! They are light weight and have done no damage to my wall. My daughter loves to see her artistic creations come to life on her special chalk board. The fact that you get four per kit means that your options are wide open (we've even put one in the playhouse outside!) A genuinely great deal!"

Great for the playroom!

"I just received this item this morning, and I can't say enough about it. Instead of affixing the panels to the wall, I ended up using them on either side of an old armoire that we keep in my daughter's playroom for additional storage. Not only does she love all the writing space, they really helped to transform a piece of furniture that until now didn't totally fit in to the playroom."

A Cool Disguise

"First, I love the fact that you can peel and re-stick anywhere so you can move it anywhere around the room or take it with you if you move. What I love most about it is how it disguised my wall heat/a.c. unit in our apartment. You can easily cut it with scissors to make the perfect size (or shape) for wherever or whatever you're sticking it on!"

"My son has so much fun drawing all over this chalkboard, and it does not make that sound that always gives me the chills. In addition, it is easy to place, reposition, and does not mess up your walls. We love it. It comes in a pack of four, and we only really need to use one at a time. We are saving the others for when this one wears out. It does however scratch easily when drawn on, so it may have to be replaced yearly after being drawn on on a just about daily basis. But overall, completely worth the cost and is a much better alternative to the real thing in my opinion."
