a classic!
"I got this book as a shower gift for a friend, and I heard from the parents and grandparents it brought a tear to their eyes. It's a great lesson for young an old, enjoyable for the kids listening and the adults reading!"

Excellent for a 3 year old
"This book was perfect for my son's 3 year birthday. We read it at night and it's a quick simple read but very enjoyable. I tell my son that the little boy had patience and waited until the carrot came up. He uses this concept with other things throughout the day now."

A Great Lesson For All
""What I like about the Carrot Seed is the little boy keeps watering the seed and the person says the carrot won't grow. But the best part was the boy waited and waited and waited and it finally grew." Age 4"

has a great message
"My son loves that the carrot gets so big. Mom likes the message that the boy does not give up when everyone tells him to give up. This is a great book for young children."

A favorite book
"My 1 year old son loves this book. He brings it to me constantly to hear the story, and gets so excited when the carrot finally grows. Luckily after reading it a few times, I had it memorized. Now I can recite it to him, as he turns the pages."

A classic - you'll remember it too!
"The second I saw this book on the website, memories flooded my mind of days on my grandmother's porch... reading her old, worn copy of "The Carrot Seed". This board book is perfect for little hands, simple enough to keep their attention, and teaches a lesson at the same time. I love it... so does my son."
