"Sturdy bed, simple design. We bought the entire bedroom set and are very pleased. Only thing is the wood seems to be somewhat soft. It doesn't really scratch up but nicks/indentations easier than I'd like. Still looks great though over all and we've had it for 3 years now."

"This bed's design is simple and clean...exactly what we wanted for our son's room. It is very sturdy, and because it does not need a box spring, sits low to the ground - perfect for our 3-year-old. I know this quality piece will be used in our house for years to come. The delivery and set-up service was excellent."

Beautiful Bed

"I just purchased this bed in espresso and it is beautiful. One of my favorite features is that the bed allows enough room that, when placed against a wall, you can still make the bed easily. We did not buy it at the time, but we are going to order the trundle as well. It is such high quality."

A Good Buy

"We bought this furniture collection (beds, nightstands, tall dressers & trundles) for 2 of our boys (aged 4.5 and 3) and they love it.
The furniture is solid and looks good and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in.
My only negative is that some of the drawers don't run very well on their tracks and they have to be 'jiggled' a bit to close. They have been like this since we got them so it's not from mis-use."

"We bought the bed and the trundle for our 3 year-old daughter. She loves it and so do we! It is well made and I'm hoping will last through her teenage years. The trundle is a great addition for sleepovers. (The guys who assembled the bed were great too!)"

"We bought this bed for our 8 yr. old son and knew we needed a bed that was sturdy. The slats that support the mattress roll out the entire length of the bed so there is great support. The bed doesn't move when you shake the ends like some other beds we looked at in furniture stores. It went together very easily too, not difficult at all for us to do ourselves. This is the kind of bed we will be able to give to our grandkids. Love it!"

"We got this bed for my 3-yr. old son and he absolutely loves it. We decided to get this bed instead of a toddler bed and haven't regretted our decision. Great, versatile bed

"I bought this bed last year for my five-year old son. We bought the bed, because it can convert to bunk beds -- if we have a second child. Unfortunately, they phased out the model of the Simple bed that we bought and the new model is not compatible with ours, so we won't be able to convert to bunkbeds in the future. That's why I rated this four stars and not five."

"I originally bought this bedroom set (bed, dresser, nightstand, desk, hutch, and chair) when my oldest son turned three, because I thought it was something that he could use for life. Its solid wood and sturdy construction should last him a lifetime, and the natual finish goes with any decor. But the real endorsement is in the fact that I bought a second set for my youngest son when he recently turned three and was ready for a big boy bed."

"I purchased this bed for my son as his "big boy" bed when we needed to use his crib for his baby brother. The bed is perfect for a 2 year old (we have the side rail attached) and I plan on using it until his teen age years! The design is simple (as the name implies) thus making it a timeless piece of furniture. The construction is solid (I sit in it and read to him at night) and we have had nothing but compliments from family and friends! We are obviously very happy with this purchase."
