Beautiful, well-made crib!
"With my daughter turning a year-old this month, I thought it was time to finally write a review of this amazing crib. I did extensive research before buying a crib for my newborn daughter last year. I wanted a safe, solid hardwood crib made in the USA that didn't scratch or dent easily. So, after a ridiculous amount of research, I bought the espresso straight-up crib with the organic mattress. The wood stain is absolutely beautiful, much more so than in the photos. The construction is solid and it's simple to put together (my husband and I did it with no problem). After one year, this crib still looks brand new. We moved across the country, from Florida to California, when our daughter was two months old and it was a cinch to take apart and reassemble. There are no dents or scratches, even with an active, teething baby (we bought the Prince Lionheart rail guards and added them when she started teething). It's held up beautifully. I can't say enough about the craftsmanship of this crib. It's beautiful, well-made, sturdy and, based on our experience so far, I'm certain it will last through our next child and beyond. If you're looking for quality and craftsmanship, buy this crib. You won't be disappointed!"

Very Pleased.
"The crib was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. No scratches, etc. My husband easily put it together in under a half hour. He said the most difficult part about assembling the crib was taking all of the protective packaging off and carrying it down to the recycling bin!"

Love it!
"We bought this crib a couple of years ago for our first baby. It's still in great shape and has been easy to take apart and put together again (we've moved it a couple of times). Beautiful!
"I'm 33 weeks and we just got this crib as a shower gift. It looks even better in person than the pictures. Espresso color is GORGEOUS and it's very sturdy (but does not look heavy or bulky at all). My husband and I put this together in less than an hour. We also got the matching 6 drawer dresser/changer and the nightstand. Honestly this baby has better furniture that I do! I can't wait to stop gawking at it and start using it!"

it's the best
"We bought this ten months ago for our now ten-month-old little girl. Although getting her to sleep through the night was tough, the beauty of this crib lessened the pain. Not only is it nice on the eyes, but it was easy to assemble. we even moved with it across the country, and putting it back together was a cinch. I was uncompromising about buying a crib in the US with natural materials and i'm so glad that I did. Like many babies she chews on the rail, like the wild child that she is, and I don't worry about her injesting toxic chemicals. I couldn't recommend this crib and more, and now look to LON anytime I need a purchase or a gift or for our own little girl. Since it is so well made it will be a family heirloom rather than a hunk of junk to toss out after the kids have grown. It also doesn't bother me in the slighest that it does not convert because when the time comes I will buy her a twin that she can have until she moves out. If we need a temporary rail, then so be it. We love this crib!"

LOVE this crib :)
"bought this crib for my first and she is sitll in it (she is sixteen months old). we are expecting in 8 weeks and instead of kicking her out, we bought another for baby #2! the crib is very sturdy, and looks just as new as the day i got it over sixteen months ago. no chips on the wood or messed up stain or anything. also bought the matching espresso dresser and book case. LOVE!"

Classic sturdy crib
"We bought this crib for our son two years ago and plan on using it for our daughter, who is due in December. The clean lines ensure it'll be in style forever, and the crib is incredibly sturdy. What's more, assembly was a snap. I put it together, all by myself, 8 months pregnant, in about 10-15 minutes. The multiple heights have ensured my son is safe and secure, even though he's a bit of a climber. I highly recommend this crib to anyone."

Beautiful and Sturdy
"We love our crib! We've been using it for about 8 months and have never even needed to tighten the screws. When it came time to lower the mattress, it was really easy (I was worried it would be complicated!). Another nice thing is that it perfectly matches our other espresso-colored furniture from Land of Nod.
It's certainly not inexpensive, though. Ours was a gift from grandparents and I'm not sure we would have chosen one that was so pricy if we were buying it on our own. But the quality is exceptional--if you can afford a crib in this price range, it's worth it."
