"The crib was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. No scratches, etc. My husband easily put it together in under a half hour. He said the most difficult part about assembling the crib was taking all of the protective packaging off and carrying it down to the recycling bin!"

"My husband and I purchased the Straight-up Crib along with the Simple Dresser and Changing Top. The Crib is sturdy and very well made. We decided to purchase from the Land of Nod, because the crib is made in America, which is not so at many comparable kid's furniture retailers. The crib was easy to assemble. Looks beautiful in our new nursery!"

"this crib is even better looking in person and my husband was able to assemble it within a half hour. it has 3 different positions for the mattress the highest being for infants, the mid level for when they are starting to pull up and the lowest for standing babies and if/when you want to convert it to a toddler bed. we also purchased the conversion kit. the crib is very sturdy and is a handsome addition to our baby boy's nursery."

"I live in an 85-year old house in the city and therefore had a small room to work with when designing the nursery. When looking for a crib I wanted clean lines, solid wood construction, and something made in the USA. This crib fit those requirements to a tee. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The perfect crib in my opinion."

"This crib is really nice looking - it is exactly what I was hoping for from the pictures. It's simple and classic, and I love the quality of the wood and the espresso finish. "This crib is very sturdy and safe. It doesn't jiggle around like most cribs do and because it doesn't have a sliding side, it is much safer for baby because it can't come crashing down on him/her, baby can't get fingers trapped in the mechanism, etc.
Also, being closer to the ground, if baby ever did make his/her way over the side (which, they tend to do at some point down the road) the drop to the ground is much less than a standard crib."

Who knew you could adore a piece of furniture!

"After much deliberation, we bought the Straight-Up crib for our first son. It arrived on schedule when I was 9 months pregnant. I was so excited for its arrival that I had the movers drop it in the nursery and then - much to my delight - I assembled it in no time.
The quality and price are excellent. This is a great timeless piece of furniture and we're so pleased. My friend who is an interior decorator helped us choose this crib among some other more modern (and more expensive) cribs.
We're happy we took her advice!"

"We purchased this crib along with the Simple 6 Drawer Dresser and the matching Changing Top for our daughter, who is now 3 months old. We wanted fixed sides on our crib and we also wanted a style that could accommodate both modern and classic bedding styles. We are very happy with the quality of this piece on all counts - it was simple to put together, looks great and seems much more substantial than it's price might suggest. "This crib is not only a beautiful piece of furniture, but also provides the safety and sturdiness you want for your child. No moving parts (drop down side rail) but still tall enough to lean on for watching your little one sleep. The very kind delivery folks even assembled it for us. The espresso finish is not too glossy and matches well with other darkly stained furniture."
