"This is a classic, timeless dollhouse! It was easy to assemble, and looks fabulous! I love that it is sturdy, and not made from plastic. I purchased it for our 3 year old daughter upon the birth of our son, and she has enjoyed reinacting family evetns with her critters...giving me the time to spend with our son!"

Perfect Holiday Gift for a little girl!

"I don't know who enjoyed this more-me (having such fun setting it up-and a cinch to put together!) or my daughter on Christmas morning! This dollhouse keeps her busy for hours and I just love the old school look of it! It's held up great and I know both of my daughters will continue to play with it for years to come. The rooms are nice and spacious and it is adorable from all angles. I can't wait to decorate it with surprises each holiday season!"

Perfect little house

"This dollhouse is beautiful, well made, and easy to put together. The roof line on ours did not line up perfectly at first, but it seems to have settled a bit, improving the appearance. My 5-year-old plays with it often, filling it with Calico Critters and/or Little People and just about all their little furniture and belongings (her decorating sense tends toward clutter at this point). Big and beautiful enough to make a real splash as a Christmas or birthday gift!"

Beautiful Dollhouse

"I bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. She loves Calico Critters, and I wanted her to have a dollhouse for them. Shortly after we bought it, we moved. I was happy to see that the dollhouse made the long trip without getting chipped in any way. My only problem with this was that one of the screws that was supposed to hold the staircase down didn't fit. Fortunately, it didn't affect being able to play with the dollhouse."

"My daughter loves Calico Critters, but we never liked the all-plastic house that is usually shown with their sets. This wooden house from Land of Nod is perfect! We really wanted a wooden, more classic look -- and this little home give my daugher plenty of room for all her critter figures and furniture. We also like the big open rooms which are easier for my toddler to navigate and which give many more options for furniture arrangments."

"I looked high and low for the perfect dollhouse for my three year old daughter's birthday. I am so glad this is the one I purchased. It is absolutely charming and the quality is fanatastic. I purchased the house, three families and five sets of furniture to divvy up between family and friends as gifts from us all to complete the set. (I have several girlfriends who are going to do the same for Christmas). She has not stopped playing with it, my five year old son plays with it too! "I bought this doll house as a birthday present for my granddaughter's third birthday. She loved it and so did her five year old macho brother. It is one of the few toys they really share and play with. Best of all I put it together myself and didn't have to ask my son-in-law to do it. It is so attractive and different and invites all kinds of imaginative playing."

"Wow! What a great intro into the world of make-pretend home ownership! We use the stairs, furnish, however we like! Decorate the outside window boxes and so much more with a small family of friends! Roof doesn't leak and we don't pay realestate tax!

"I bought the Mouse Family that goes with this house and my daughter loves them!!! She's usually got one or more clutched in her hands whenever we go to the park, the store, even the doctor's. Novelty for a Manhattan Kid

"I should have bought more than one critter family, as the kids keep thinking it's a NYC apartment building and cramming everything into one "apartment." A very nice apartment building, mind you (though OSHA probably wouldn't approve the stairs -- kind of narrow for little hands to maneuver animals/people through). It is a nice old-school design, easy to assemble, and pleasing on the eye with cute window boxes, sweet little curtains, and very welcoming Welcome mat. The representative I spoke with on the phone (had to rush order it for a birthday present) was helpful and charming. It's been a good choice for our family all around."

"We purchased this dollhouse, along with the bunny and cat families and furniture, for our 3.5 year old daughter last Christmas. She loves it! Unlike many of the dollhouses we looked at, you can actually get your hands in the rooms to play! Imagine that! The quality is fantastic--even with her 2 year old brother trying to "play" with it. I would highly recommend this adorable dollhouse."
