One Giant Leap for Kids Lighting

Okay, braniacs, True or False: 1 Saturn is the largest planet in our solar system. 2 Saturn was first observed by Galileo. 3 Saturn's inner core has an eerie resemblance to olive loaf. See answers below. Our Saturn Lamp was inspired by a 1930's children's lamp we found in an attic. Details, details - Whip-stitched shade detail - 60W bulb; UL-listed - Polarized plug - 1 False. That'd be Jupiter. 2 True. 3 False. Show 'em what you're made of - Brushed-steel planet and base

Very cute!
"Great lamp for any boys room young or old, looks great on my sons bedside table and all his friends commented on it! Great buy and decent price."

Best Surprise
"This was a baby shower gift and it was worth the look of surprise on the new mom's face when she opened it. It will fit in great with the baby's room decor."

Very nice lamp
"This lamp is very nice, good quality and appropriate for kids without being babyish. I think my son will be able to use this lamp for many years. I just wish it were slightly bigger."

nice lamp
"My 5 year old asked for a big boy lamp to replace the one he considered more babyish. This is just right for his dresser. He looks at books when he isn't ready to fall asleep. The brushed metal and blue with neutral shade fit in with different themes, not just outer space. He has planets and stars but also robots and action/sci fi characters. We viisted a planetarium and saw saturn in the telescope, so this was a bonus find. The only thing I'd change is the switch. The chain switch on his baby lamp was easier for him to use than the twist knob. I had to teach him how to avoid the hot bulb when he turns it off."

Great lamp for small spaces
"My son loves anything to do with space/planets/the solor system, etc. This lamp was perfect for him. It is on the small side which was perfect for the application we needed. Super cute and looks great even if the room is not all themed out! Would definitely recommend."

Great Planet Lamp!
"This is a really nice lamp for a little boys room. My son is very interested in space and the planets so this was a perfect fit for his room. Nice quality and a fair price."

Cute Lamp
"This lamp goes well with the quilt we purchased and matches our son's bedroom furniture well. It is good quality, just wish it were slightly bigger. A little pricey, but had to have it anyway!"

Lighting up the Night!
"The space lamp is the perfect addition to our son's space themed room. I was happy with the quality and know it will last throughout my "rocket man's" space adventures in his playroom. Be careful not to throw away important parts of the lamp in the packaging. (OOps...My Bad!) But the awesome...amazing customer service department at Land of Nod (More like Land of Miracles) felt my pain and came to my rescue. I am thankful to the moon and back!"

Giant Leap Bedside Lamp
"The lamp base actually seems bigger in person. I was impressed with how heavy the base was. A plus for not tipping over."

Very cute lamp for young space enthusiast!
"This is a very nice sturdy lamp. My space geek 8 yr old loved getting it for Christmas. At first I thought the lacing was too cowboy-ish and did not fit with space theme...but it's grown on me. Very very cute but won't be "too cute" when he gets to his pre-teens, at which time we can replace the shade with something more mature and still have a nice lamp. The only tiny fault is that the end of the lacing detached within days and needed to be glued down again."

love design but question quality
"Bought this lamp for my son and after a few weeks the ribbing started coming apart. Land of Nod sent me a new one without any trouble and it's a few months later and all's well so far. I hope it doesn't come apart again."

Cute lamp!
"We love this lamp in our sons room, I will say the stiching is coming out of the shade on bottom. Other than that it is really cute-"
