LOVE IT!
Date - August 13, 2009
"I recognize the value in simple toys, and I see how children typically play with everything but the fancy toys you buy them. HOWEVER, when I read this book, standing in the store with a friend, the first thing I thouhgt about was when my mom got a new refrigerator. I played in that box all summer, until it rained and the trash man had to take it away. EVERYONE I know is getting this book when they have a child!"

One of Our Favorites!

"This book is so true to how children love to play with cardboard boxes more than the toys that come in them sometimes. I love the imagination behind it!"

Great book!
Date - November 29, 2008
"I use this book in my preschool classroom, and nearly every child in the class can relate to it. It also reinforces the notion that simple is wonderful for imaginations and pocketbooks. This book also reminds parents and educators that we should continue to provide opportunities for children to play with simple toys like sticks and boxes."

A unique book!
Date - November 15, 2008
"Just ordered this book for my new baby as a Christmas present. We want our little boy to love reading and have been purchasing a lot of books. This particular book is unique in that it truly inspires a dialogue between parent and child while reading and also stimulates imagination. Page after page, the reader is shown how a simple brown box is anything but!"

"I love this book as much as my kids. So simple but genius. It is a great visual of inspiration and imagination. Our preschool even did a whole unit around it. A must for your home library."

Active Imagination
Date - April 10, 2008
"This is a thought provoking book, great for a child with an active imagination. The little rabbit makes the box into different things - this book also make a great guide into what he/she could do with his/her own empty box. Great if you like books with open ended stories."
