beautiful bookcase
"This is excellent quality and beautiful to look at. We bought this in Expresso. My daughter loves to pull books off the shelf and dig through the toy bin. I couldn't have designed a better shelf for her room. We are planning on buying a second bookcase!"

Good Quality/Beautiful Finish
"I had shopped around ALOT for the right bookcase for our sons playroom that is also the new family TV room. The room is on the main floor and easily in view so I wanted something nice but functional. These bookcases were better than I expected - solid wood and a beautiful dark espresso finish. They look great in the room and do not look "childish" at all! I'm considering ordering other pieces to match. I also ordered the colored baskets to match-very nice as well. I've never written reviews for anything before, but this was well worth it so I wanted to share. Great quality."

Great bookcase!
"I bought this bookcase for toy storage in the living room. It looks great and blends well with other furnishing. It is easy to put together (just 30 minutes) and very solidly constructed! Unlike other cheap alternatives, we can use this bookcase for a long time. Highly recommended!"

great bookcase for small space
"My daughter loves this bookcase because there is a "home" for her stuffed animals at the bottom. The 48" height is perfect for her (she is 4) and she can reach all of her books on the top and middle shelves. The shelve height is adjustable which is helpful as well. Assembly was easy and the materials for the bookcase are quality materials. Very happy with this purchase."

Beautiful and high quality product!
"I bought two of these for my 3.5 year old son's bedroom. He has knee walls in his room that are 48.5" tall, so these bookshelves are the ideal height. Delivery was quick, and when the bookshelves arrived, they were packed extremely well and in perfect condition. I found the instructions to be very good, and I had no trouble whatsoever putting them together by myself. I'd say it might have taken me 20 minutes per unit to complete. As I was assembling the shelves, I was impressed with the precision of the woodwork. Everything fit together perfectly!! I'm a mechanical engineer, so I really appreciate designs that are well thought out, and instructions that are clear. I'm also very particular about my purchases, and did a lot of research before deciding upon these. I've been very happy with this purchase. Both units look so nice, and they are solid wood. They've been in my son's room for several months now, and so far they have no dings or scratches. The wood and finish seem to be very durable. The only downside is that they are kind of pricey, but they are so well made that I expect they will last indefinitely."

Great Bookshelf
"Building the bookshelf was somewhat confusing but once I had it put together properly (which included disassembling and rebuilding), I was very happy with it. One panel of my bookshelf arrived damaged and customer service was very helpful in resolving the issue to my satisfaction."

Sturdy, Versatile and Attractive Organization

"We have two of the 48" Flat Top Bookcases and love them. The combination of functionality -bookcase and toy bin- and "clean" design are the characteristics that led me to originally purchase the first one. It worked out so well that we purchased an additional bookcase. Our daughter is 18 months old and we expect that she will use these, in various capacities (right now for books and toys and later for more books, activity sets and projects) for many years to come. We also like the flexibility of the combination of this storage with other LON pieces (we have ordered a 3 cube bench to put between the bookcases) for when we move into our new house and our daughter has a dedicated play room.
I gave a 4 star rating, as opposed to a 5, purely because the second bookcase we ordered had an issue with the screws that attached the top of the bookshelf to the side board splitting the wood on the outside of the bookcase. LON customer service promptly sent a replacement which assembled without any problems.."

Great Quality, Good Looking Set!
"I purchased four of these for one of our family rooms. I was nervous 4 might look overwhelming, but they look awesome. They are very attractive in the white. My husband said that they were a breeze to assemble and was very impressed with the weight/material/construction of these bookcases - and he is not easily impressed. Highly recommend!"

Great Shelves!
"We purchased six of these shelves (two sets of three) in white for our newly finished basement for toys, books, etc. We are extremely happy with them. They are sturdy and very functional. I (Mom) put all of them together by myself. The first one took a little longer, but once I knew how they went together I was able to get them done in about 25 minutes each. My only one small complaint is that the holes that were predrilled for the back panels were off a bit, so putting them on took a little more work than the rest of the shelf. I didn't need to predrill anything thought, I was just able to push a little harder and the screws went right in. It is also nice that the back panels are not cheap cardboard and that they are finished on the backside, too.
The bin on the bottom is really useful and we love the adjustable shelf. There are little notches on the bottom of the adjustable shelf that keep it sitting in place on the pegs. It’s peace of mind knowing that I don’t have to worry about the shelf pulling out with the toys. You can also screw the shelf to the pegs, but for us the notches work great. There are also small finishing touches, like the trim on the front of the shelves that make it look nicer than just a plan old bookshelf.
This was our first furniture purchase from Land of Nod and we are very satisfied."

Wish it was right the first time
"I received this product and put together very easily one night...although the back three peices were not long enough to screw in the bottom. Very disappointing. I am waiting for another box to finish the bookshelf. The product is beautiful and seems solid just disappointed that I still can not use it and wished they had gotten it right the first time."

Just a thought

When I put one of our shelves together I accidently put the bottom on wrong and it made the back panels too short. Once I took the bottom off and flipped it over the back panels fit.

Beautiful Shelves!
"I purchased the Honey shelf last year and when I saw all the new toys coming in, I bought 2 more. They only have espresso, but the playroom is mix and match anyway so they still look great. They hold alot of stuff!!
The 1 problem I did have is the likky split delivery of 5-7 days was more like 3 weeks."
