Great for kids with croup! Quiet too.

"This humidifier is not only cute, but is really great when the kids get croup and have breathing difficulties. The penguin is the best choice from this company because the head can be turned to blow right over the child if needed (rather than straight up to overall humidify a room). This model is so much quieter than my old style humidifier which is only used for a sound machine now."

"We have had this for a while and it has performed really well. My only complaint is that it gets dirty easily and can be difficult to clean. I like that the head moves so you can direct the output."

so darn cute!

"I have this penguin and love it! I've had it for 2 years now and it still works great (I only use it when my kids are sick, not for every day use although I'm sure you can use it every day). It's easy to use and no filters to clean, throw out or replace. I did see they offer a drop in filter and cleaner now so I think I'll get those. One thing I really like about this is you can see the cool mist coming out and know how hi to turn it or how low."

"got this for a gift along with the frog, i put this guy in my sons room who has a breathing problem, it helps alot. works well year round, easy to use. and super cute."

"Living in cold, dreary, dry Chicago and having a baby in Feb, we knew he needed a humidifier. So, why not get a cute one?! Our first one broke - not sure why, but it just stopped working. The second is still humming along, but it's tough to clean, runs out of water in less than 24 hours if it's on high (which probably has more to do with Chicago, but hey! it's still a pain) and kind of makes a rattling sound. So, my guess would be there are better humidifiers out there if you don't care about the cuteness factor!"
