The only diapers we use!
Date - November 17, 2009
"We've been using Bum Genius exclusively for for 8 months and they are still in great shape. I hang the covers to dry which keeps them looking new. I love that they are adjustable and we won't have to buy diapers again!"

Easy to use and great for Mother Earth!
Date - November 5, 2009
"I received these diapers as a shower gift and LOVE them! I wish they had come with a little instruction manual for use, but there are plenty of tutorials on Utube. The thinner pads are great for during the day and the thicker ones perfect for night. They aren't too bulky under clothes and super cute when worn with BabyLegs! You have to buy extra diaper liners when you use BumGenius otherwise a "poopy" diaper is a nightmare! You end up wasting lots of water rinsing and that kind of defeats the purpose. Have no fear, most liners are biodegradable."

An excellent All-in-one
Date - October 21, 2009
"We had our doubts at first, but these have become our favorite diapers. They do such an excellent job of absorbing moisture that it can be hard to tell whether they're wet sometimes. I'd like to use them exclusively, but since we have lots of other cloth diapers we reserve these ones for overnight. I highly recommend them."

Wonderful product!!
Date - October 20, 2009
"I was so excited to find a modern reusable diaper that wasn't too overly priced. These diapers work so well, and I have gotten so many compliments on them. I didn't start using them until my son was a month old because the disposable diapers kept leaking, plus I hate putting them into landfills! I bought two to try, and have added 4 more and they work great! Follow the washing instructions and make sure they are velcro'd on properly and they work for 12 hours straight w/o any leaks! I'd like to get a couple more so I don't have to wash them daily, but for now 6 diapers lasts me about 24 hours straight. Just change the liners when he's wet and the diapers when he's gone number two; throw them in the wash with a little detergent; dry and your ready to go again!"

"We use g diapers during the day for the convenience when she's with her nanny, but she wears the bum genius at night. They're awesome! Hold a ton of liquid and are super comfy. Plus, so easy to use. Easiest diaper to put on, hands down."

Fits Great, No Leaks!
Date - April 23, 2009
"At first this diaper seemed a bit bulky but, after it had been washed a couple of times, it's perfect! No leaks. Adjusted to fit fit my little one great. I've tried a couple of other one size cloth diapers and this one so far, is my favorite. LOVE IT!"

Easier Than Disposables
Date - March 31, 2009
"Forget taking out a ton of smelly diaper trash everyday, just flush baby's waste (they roll right off the diaper, no touching!) and wash the diapers every other day. It's such a small load it really takes no time and I love that I don't have to buy another diaper ever until training pants! We bought these when our baby was born and started using them when he was a month old. He's now almost a year and with normal washing they are still just as white as when we got them! They never leak and they are superb night diapers when we use the extra insert. They are a bit bulky but it's not hard to find clothing that's roomier in the bum... it's just genius! I've used diaper cream with these but I also use biodegradable liners too. You will definitely not regret this purchase."

Who Knew?
Date - January 11, 2009
"I would never have guessed that I would be using cloth diapers. I have asked for a couple at my baby shower but hadn't used them yet. My husband put our baby in one while I was at the store. Later on, I was changing her diaper and realized that she was wearing a cloth one! She looked so comfortable in them that I went out and bought more and have never gone back. They wash up really well and don't stay stained. I love these so much I wish I had used them from the start."

"Love how the diaper grows with the child. The insert is super absorbent. Bowel movements cleaned easily from the suede fabric. Been using for over 1 year and still sparkling white and fresh smelling without using any harsh chemicals to wash it."

The most user friendly of the cloth diaper brands
Date - December 1, 2008
"I have tried many brands of cloth diapers, and while these aren't necessary the TOPS on quality (those were made by a work-at-home-mom who makes one diaper at a time), they're easily 2nd. After using them for 8 months, they have started to show their age a bit, but that being said, they'll probably last through another baby without a problem. The color has faded slightly, and the velcro is getting a tad ratty at the edges, but they've been washed every other day for the past 8 months. And since they're under the clothing and nobody can see, who cares? We have never had a problem with them leaking during the daytime - they are our diaper of choice for leaving the house. Occassionally my daughter will wake up a little wet in the morning, but if we add two "newborn" inserts as doublers, we're usually good overnight. The diapers come with one main insert, and a newborn insert which is less bulky but wouldn't have been big/absorbent enough for my daughter as a newborn. The diaper has two rows of snaps for adjusting the size. My daughter is 13 mos old - about 24 pounds - and she wears them snapped on the biggest size during the day and completely unsnapped for overnight when the diaper is more bulky because its heavily stuffed. Also, these have suedecloth inner lining against the baby's skin (as opposed to fleece, which some brands have), which means the poo comes off very easily! These are the diapers that converted my doubting sister-in-law to cloth as well."

"I began using BG diapers on my son when he was 5 months old and weighed 15 lbs. He has been on the largest "size" since the beginning. I've never had problems with leaking, but he constantly has red rub marks on his legs. No trouble with odors after washing, but I can't get the brown stains to come out unless I use bleach, which you're only supposed to use occasionally. He looks super cute in the diapers, they keep a lot of trash out of the landfill, and they're so easy to use even my husband is onboard with cloth diapering! I would recommend this product with reservations about the rub marks and the fact that my baby has been on the largest size since 15 lbs. Hopefully LON will begin carrying the yellow and green ones soon =)"

Best cloth diapers
Date - October 21, 2008
"We wanted to do diapers as eco-friendly as possible. But we had heard from many friends with babies to try out a few brands, since each kid is different. So we bought a few of each of BumGenius, Fuzzi Buns, Seventh Generation and gDiapers. For the cloth diapers, BumGenius wins hands down over Fuzzi Bunz. The velcro is so much easier to deal with, and the elastic keeps leaks to a minimum. And they launder really well if you follow the instructions. They are bulkier than the gDiapers though, especially since our guy is still on the small end of the fit. So for now we use the Bum Genius with the outfits that have room in the butt, and the gDiapers for the ones that don't."

Easy to use!!!
Date - October 10, 2008
"I am a first time mom and when I bought these diapers before my son was born everyone thought I was nuts for trying cloth. These are the greatest invention ever made. They are extremely easy to use. My husband and I both love them. Our baby has never had a diaper rash and is actually more comfortable in them since they are so absorbent. He has leaked a couple of times, but it's mainly because he doesn't fuss about being wet like he did the few times we used disposables. They are also a great buy since they grow with your baby's size."

great product
Date - October 10, 2008
"These diapers are very easy to clean, easy to use, and well made. They are extremely soft and yet snug around my baby's thighs and waist. Leaks are rare. There are only 2 minor drawbacks: they need to be washed within 48 hours of use, and it's recommended that you do not use diaper cream when your baby is wearing one of these diapers (cream can ruin the absorbency of the cloth). My baby hasn't experienced diaper rash when wearing Bum Genius diapers, though. I think these diapers are a great solution for parents looking for an eco-friendly diapering method that doesn't take a lot of effort or time. They are expensive, but in the long term they are cheaper than disposables or using a diaper service."

Have patience!
Date - June 12, 2008
"I am a first time mom, new to cloth diapers. I bought a few different types to start but purchased 12 of the Bum Genius one size diapers to be my main diaper. Have patience-- we went through days where every time I put him in this diaper it leaked. Make sure that the insert does not go above the velcro, make sure the tabs are under the elastic and finally what made the diapers work perfectly for me was to have it on the right size. I assumed that my 3 month old would still be on the small setting...I was wrong. As soon as I snapped him in on the medium setting we have had only one leak. What a relief. I thought I was going to have to give up on cloth diapers. I rated this diaper a four because of the hassle I had getting them to fit just right so we wouldn't have leaks. Other than that-- I love them!"

The Best Cloth Diaper!
Date - June 7, 2008
"We bought this diaper before our baby was born. After she was born, we started cloth diapering around 3 months. I love the way you can adjust the size on these diapers. The fleece liner wicks away moisture and the inserts are super absorbant. If you are considering cloth diapering, buy these diapers!"

pamper your little one!
Date - April 26, 2008
"i am a recent convert from disposables to cloth and i can't say enough about bumgenius, they are just as easy and i can't believe i ever used the scratchy paper ones on my newborn! anyone who thinks cloth diapers might be too much effort or just plain gross needs to buy just one or two of these to try for themselves. even if you only keep them on hand to use when your little one has a diaper rash (they are more gentle), they are a wonderful addition to your nursery gear. i never thought saving money and being eco-friendly could be so luxurious."

"These diapers are awesome! For $300 you can get 18 diapers and be set with diapers til your child is over 2 years old. They keep my son dry even through the night and are very simple to wash. There is no dunking in the toilet needed! I will never go back to disposables! Also, they look adorable on my son!"
