"As the name says, this chair is definitely attractive! It's also the perfect size for my smallish nursery and is really well constructed. I sat in a lot of chairs and of all of them, this one felt the best constructed, and I did not find it to be more expensive than most of the other chairs I looked at. I bought the natural fabric so it would go with everything but love that I can order a slip cover if I want to change the look or if over time the light color gets too dirty). I would definitely recommend this chair."

"After tirelessly searching the internet for a comfortable and reasonably priced rocker that was also cute as a button, I finally found it! And lucky me, the chocolate brown color I had wanted was in stock. It shipped quickly and my new son and I LOVE reading stories and hanging out in it. When he is older, this will transition nicely into our family room."

High quality but just not cozy

"I have hunted for years for a nice "mamma-bear" chair and had high hopes for this one. It's attractive, sturdy and very well made. It's a nice size if you don't have a lot of space. It's price is also quite reasonable when compared with other, similar chairs.
Unfortunately, it's just not cozy, which is what I was (or, I guess, still am) ultimately looking for. It doesn't accommodate my long legs. Instead of tilting back a bit when I sit in it, it tilts forward and I feel like I'm sliding out of it. My toddler and I were rather squashed when trying to read together.
It's okay for nursing as the arm rests are nice and low but, once again, I had to support the chair to keep it from tipping forward. So disappointing! While it's a good chair and I might recommend it to a friend it just didn't fit my needs.
Land of Nod had wonderful customer service during the buying process. I hope it will be as good for a return/ exchange."

"We searched forever to find the right chair for the nursery. I didn't want to spend any money on a chair that I could only use in the nursery. I wanted to buy a piece of furniture that we could use in any room in our house.
I love this chair. We have not used it with the baby yet, but I sit in the chair every day."

"We spent a lot of time looking for a rocker or glider for our nursery. I had to return the first one I bought from another store b/c we were incredibly disappointed in the quality. We saw this one at Land of Nod and loved it. We received it right away and were very impressed w/ the service. You can tell the quality of the chair is very good- it's sturdy and well-made so we're not worried about it falling apart. The fabric and color are beautiful and it is very comfortable! We're so glad we bought it! Definitely worth the price!"

"This is a very attractive rocker that I actually bought to rock the baby in our living room. It is very solidly built, but a little stiff at first. It is not a wide rocker, but I am petite, so it fits me very well. The rocker rocks smoothly and quietly, and my little boy likes to rock in it."

Great Rocker

"I love this rocker. I bought it for the nursery to use as a nursing chair. So far it has worked well. It is wide enough to accommodate a growing baby, though a bit deep so when nursing I need a pillow behind my back. The baby and I sit in the chair and "read" together. The real bonus is that it is the reading chair I have always wanted. I often sneak into the nursery to read in it at night. It is solid. It is fairly easy not to rock if that is your wish. The wooden rockers have not scratched our hard wood floors. The basic beige goes with everything.
In trying to decide whether to buy this chair, I had quite a few questions, many of which concerned measurements. Customer service was exemplary. When they did not know they answer, they found out and called me back. I am very happy with both the product and the company."

"Once again, I have to highlight how impressed I am with Land of Nod and Crate & Barrel. My husband and I bought a few pieces from C&B last year and experienced nothing short of A+ customer service from them. And once again, we've experienced the same with ordering this piece from Land of Nod. The order came in quickly, the delivery personnel were exactly on time, and they've even called to check on the piece afterwards to make sure it was everything we wanted. It's refreshing to do business with a company who has such a high level of customer attention and service - and great products to boot!"

Very comfortable chair

"We've had this chair for 2 years now and it is still my favorite chair in the house. It is extremely comfortable and once my son was able to climb into it himself, he loved it too. The slipcover washes great--my son spit up on it numerous times as an infant. Definitely worth the money!"

"I have both slip covers in Denim and they are fantastic. The material is very soft and comfortable. It is also very durable and can be washed when baby spits up. I love the color, it complements all shades of blue for baby boy's nursery."

"we purchased this rocker in blue denim for our baby boy's nursery. it's beautiful and very well-constructed. the fabric is perfect and seems very durable. i love the shape of the rocker, it can grow with him and still look good in his bedroom when he's 12. my only complaint is that the rocker really moves around on our burber carpet, when we are rocking in it, it slides towards the side of the room. i always have to put it back in place, which is very annoying. other than that, its great and definately is beautiful."

Comfortable alternative to glider

"We picked this chair over the glider because the back is much higher and seemed like it would be more comfortable when feeding and rocking the baby. It was stiff at first, but as with any piece of furniture, the more you sit in it, the more it breaks in. It is now a very comfy chair (only after a few wekks) and I love nursing in it after a long day with the baby. It's also a great chair to read stories to your baby. It's a great looking piece of furniture and will transition well to another room after it has served it's purpose in the nursery."
