Comfy and Safe for my Toddler

"We just bought the whole Orbit system for our second child. In doing so, we decided to go ahead and get this toddler car seat for our 2-1/2 year old. He used to have the Britax Boulevard, which worked great too. The Orbit seat seems to be more roomy though, and he's obviously much happier in it. Since we got it 2 months ago, he's never once fussed about getting into his car seat. I think that the bucket-shaped seat is more comfortable for him, as he's able to pull his legs in, and curl-up a little. The Britax always forced him to have his legs sticking straight out. At 36 pounds, our son is obviously forward-facing at this point, so we're not getting any of the benefits of the Orbit base, which can't be used when this seat is forward facing. I'm looking forward to that feature for our second child. The one negative thing about this seat is that it's the heaviest one out there. I can't imagine ever being able to lift it out of the car with a child in it to dock it into the stroller."
