"I think I enjoy reading this more than my son enjoys hearing it! It reminds me how deep the mother-child bond is, and I remember my recently departed mother reading this to me when I was a child, so that probably biases my experience... but i feel like it is beautiful. i also enjoy the illustrations.
The only drawback to this book is that I had to explain to my 2 year old what it means to run away...."

"A charming tale about a mother's love for her little bunny who wants to run away. Beautiful, imaginative illustrations with lots to notice and discuss. My daughter laughs at (and frequently quotes) the bunny's words to his mama on the last page."
