"My nephew received a Nod chair from Santa when he was 18 months old and when my 11 month old daughter saw it she couldn't stay away from it. So, we bought her one of her own as a 1st birthday present. It stays in our living room and now, almost a year later...not a day goes by that she doesn't spend some time in her Nod chair. Whether climbing on it, sitting and reading a book, or just taking a moment of toddler "down time" when she needs a breather.
We love it! Super durable and easy to wipe clean the cover too."

"We purchased this chair for my daughter's one year birthday. She is now 15 months old and has used her chair every day. She sits in it, eats in it, climbs all over it and it stands up to her very well. I have also washed the cover twice and had no issues. Now, when we ask her "where is Emma?" she can point to her embroidered name! We just love this chair and so does she!"

"I bought this chair for my daughter x-mas 08. I read all the great reviews and had high expectations. The chair is very cute and my daughter loves it. Unfortunately it has already separated in two places along the seam. Surprised me since the fabric itself is very sturdy and my daughter in no rougher with it than the average 3 year old. I would return it but I can't find the receipt and I don't want to bother with packaging it back up."

My Daughter's Favorite Place To Be

"Always looking for a way to promote reading, I wanted a comfy place that my daughter could go to look at her picture books. Well, about 30 seconds after I assembled the chair (and it was very easy to assemble) my daughter - a 1 year old - was crawling in and out of it, sitting in it clapping her hands and then lounging in it like she sees mommy do in mommy's chair. Her basket of books resides next to the chair and she loves to drag me over and sit and look at her books."

"This chair is fantastic! It's just the right size for our toddler and has quickly become her favorite little spot to do just about anything - read a book, eat a snack, watch TV. "Originally I purchased this as a place for reading and curling up. It has turned out to be one of the most enduringly popular toys my daughter has.
She does use it for reading and snuggling stuffed animals, but she also drags it around the house and requests "chair races". Its light enough that she can move it easily and has held up very well after 9 months of abuse.
I would recommend this for anybody looking for a comfy kid sized place to flop."

"I ordered this for my year old Grandaughter. It was such a hit that Mom took it home to her house so will have to order another. She loves her chair and spends many hours in it looking at her books and chilling out with the family. She plays pretend time with her dolls and stuffed animals all lined up sitting in the chair. Mom loves it as it is easy to clean and move around from room to room where needed. She puts her play cell phone and tv remote in the back pocket. Every little one should have their own chair to make them feel big to!"

"7 years ago, I purchased a Nod Chair for my son for his first birthday. He still uses it to this day! The cover comes off for easy washing and it still looks great! I love it so much, I also purchased one for each of my daughters for their birthdays. One is four and the other is almost two...thank goodness I am not having more kids...I'm running out of room! "I bought this for my daughters room just after she was born, at first it was just a decoration in her room but from the moment she could sit and crawl she fell in love with it! It was not just a chair but a jungle gym, a nap spot, a lovie... this chair gave her something to crawl on, work on her motor skills at a young age and now is her reading chair and more. Two and a half years later and several spills and spit ups later it is in great condition and shows no signs of giving out. Plenty of years of use still to come! Thanks Land of Nod!"

"After looking at other similar style chairs for my daughter I decided on the Land of Nod chair. I liked the variety of colors, patterns and fabric. I also liked the book pocket feature in the back of the Nod chair. We didn't have her name put on it so we could use it also for future children."
