"A throw back to another era, this bean bag chair is a very cute addition to my daughter's room. I do agree that the insert filling does not completely round out the bag but if the filling was increased in size it seems the problem would be solved. That said, it's a great bean bag, provides good support and the personalization is a really nice touch."

WAY better than expected ...

"i bought three of these and was immediately concerned that they wouldn't be large enough when i saw the boxes that the filler arrived in (i ordered monograms, so the covers came later -- a few days later, not 4 weeks later as expected - YAY!) however, they are a VERY nice size and not so heavy that my 4 year old can't pick up and move. i absolutely LOVE the covers (i purchased pink, blue and green) and they are of good quality. also, the handle is VERY nice to have. there are similar bean bags on another website, and they are a bit more expensive, so i was glad to see that i didn't overpay.
this is my first purchase from land of nod, and will definitely NOT be my last."

"I bought one for each daughter; one pink and one purple. The girls LOVE them and sit in them whenever they watch movies. They are comfy, sturdy, pretty, cleanable and easy to move around with the built in handle. Daddy lays on them when he thinks no one is looking. Absolutely cool beans."

"I checked out other, cheaper chairs, but for the quality this one is tops. It has a very nice, removable cover and just the right amount of fill to be squishy, but still firm enough to sit on comfortably.

"These bean bags are SO soft and cozy - not hot and sweaty like the one I had as a kid. It adjusts nicely as a comfy spot for reading, eating snacks or watching tv.

"the best bean bag ever-and i have looked! not overstuffed and feels/looks very old school & most important, natural. my 3 year old loves it and ok, i do too. everynight, we put it in front of a big window, both cuddle up in it and watch a 'movie', which consists of whatever is happening outside at the moment.

Great Shell But Filler Bag Easily Broken

"The shell for these bean bags is sturdy, washable and has very practical construction. For example, the shell has a covered up zipper to avoid scratches on kids and floors, and there is a cloth carrying handle that allows your kids to drag this to their favorite place in the house. However, the filler bag with miniscule styrofoam beads can be broken pretty easily. When it springs a leak, mending it is very difficult and those little beads show up everywhere. A filler bag ripped while I removed it to launder the shell and I had to replace it."

"3rd time's a charm.... we have tried other leading store beanbags and none were as high quality or as durable. Even though the owner of this pink pouf is one adorable dainty 9 year old girley-girl, our daughter can be quite imaginative and has rigorously put this bag through the ringer. Most enjoyed for some R&R but this trooper [ the bag ;) ] has been jumped on, thrown about, plopped onto, and quite often used for a new fangled game of 'slip and slide' on the hardwood floors... yet after each 'adventure' looks and feels as good as new. Bravo and a nod to the Nod!"

"We bought two of these chairs for our son for Christmas - so he could cozy-down while playing with his race track. Our son thought they were pretty cool, but my husband uses them the most (isn't that always the way?).
