Disappointed
"The soft plastic eye piece comes off of this product easily which makes looking through the spy glass difficult. Not typical Land of Nod quality."

It's going back.
"I received this spyglass this week and I'm sending it back-- I'm really disappointed. The field of view is tiny and it will only focus on objects quite distant-- it's not useful inside the house. I got dizzy trying to use it myself. Bummer."

PERFECT!!!!
"Was a little unsure of the item due to the price... It is absolutely perfect, the size the weight. It's for my 3 year old, Diego strikes again! I tried it out so it was focused when she took it out of the box. I have bad vision, I was able to read my computer screen from across the room! And my 5 year old loved the activity book that arrived in the box. Shipped in 4 days as promised, definitely buying from this company again!"

Cool for younger kids, too
"My 3-year old is VERY into pretend play and has been a pirate for quite some time now! This spyglass has solved our frustrations with the proliferation of stray paper towel rolls all over the house. It was hard to figure out the focus at first, but he loves it and plays with it daily!"

"Great for playing explorer - we take ours with us camping and it has held up beautifully. Our son is only three, so I think he's more about 'batending' with it than REALLY looking through it, but I think it works pretty well, being that it is a toy. :)"

Fun Pretend Play
"This toy is cute and a great idea for pretend play. However, it is diffucult for kids to see images through it because the magnification doesn't work well...this frustrates my 5 year old. Also, the rubber piece that is meant to cushion your eye when looking through the spyglass comes off easily."

Great for the Little Imagination
"My 3 year old has been using a toilet paper roll as his "spyglass" for the last year and we decided it was time to upgrade! He loves exploring his surroundings with this spyglass & inspects everything...from his food to the dogs teeth! Would recommend this for any child who loves to explore."
