Great instrument for small fingers
"I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas last, he was wanting a guitar so bad. I bought this instead for him, and it was the right size. With 3 boys it gets played all the time, and is still in perfect condition. WAY TO GO LAND OF NOD, here's to more music!!"

Sweet Uke
"We bought this for my son's 2nd birthday, and it's been a daily part of our lives during the last 6 months! It's well-made, realistic looking, and adorable when played by our wee toddler! It's stood up to a few falls and some rough strumming too. We love it!"

Fantastic
"I bought this for my 2 year old son after he broke the one we bought at a music store for twice as much. Being that he is 2 it went through a lot of abuse so I wasn't too suprised. So I chose this to replace it and it has been fantasic. It plays well, and has good craftmanship, and best of all is still in tip top shape. Love this store and their products!"

Great toy... for a 1-year old
"My husband and I bought this for our son on his first birthday. We used an old guitar holder to hang it about 2 feet from the ground. Luke runs to grab it when we get home from daycare. It's a perfect size for his round hands. He can sit it in his lap to play, hold it straight up like a harp, or drag along the floor like a broom. Despite my husband's best effort to tune this ukelele, the sound quality is mediocre at best. Still though, the sound resonates okay, and luke really loves it. However, I would definitely consider stepping it up a little for an kid older than around 3."

Great Starter Instrument
"My sons, 3 & 5 , love their ukuleles! They are small enough that each child is able to handle & play the instrument easily. Although it is recommended for 6 and up, my 3 year old has had so much fun playing his "guitar" that he's declared he's going to be a rock star when he grows up :)"

Great little piece for a starter musician
"My daughter is two and has been attending Gymboree music and play since almost the beginning of her life. The music teacher plays a guitar in class, so when I saw this.. I thought she would like it to mimic the teacher, and she does. Thinking that she will appreciate it more as she grows (she likes the pitch pipe just as much as the ukelele as of now), but it is a lovely addition to our growning instrument collection."

We Love this little instrument!
"We bought this cute little thing since our boy was 18 month. He was fascinated by the plucking sound and starts imitating us holding the instrument. When he meets ppl who playing guitar on the street, he wants to stay and listen to the music. It's a nice wooden texture and looks good on the shelf for a little decoration."

Great Ukelele
"This was such a great buy! We bought it for our 2.5yo and he LOVES it. Our 6mo also loves playing with it. I was surprised how well made it is, especially for the price. My son does not play lightly with it and it's held up quite nicely."

Excellent for little hands
"We bought this for our son's 1st birthday because big brother has the guitar and it gives him something special. The ukelele is nice and small and a great buy for the price. Both boys like to play it."

Perfect for your little music lover
"We bought this for our 5 year old's birthday and he loves it. It is very well made unlike a lot of the toy instruments that you would buy in your local store. It's like having a good quality, miniature guitar. Our son is building a collection of instruments for his "band". Also check out the lollipop drum from this site, we purchased that at the same time and it was another great find. Thank you Land of Nod!"
