"I bought this shelf to finally clean up the clutter in our daughter's living room play area. It's perfect for that, especially with the canvas cubes. I also love the navy blue color. It is smaller than I expected, though, and does not fit some of her larger books. We will need another one before too long."

"This is a very sturdy bookcase. It looks good and is easy to assembly. Because of its simple design it goes well in a contemporary or traditional room. My only complain is that the finishing/paint should be glossy (for easy cleaning and anti-scratches) and not satin."

Great way to organize playroom

"We have one of these in our playroom and it not only looks good, but fits great in a tight space (it's not too deep which is nice) We used the strapping baskets in each cubby so the whole thing looks nice and tidy.
Assembly was no problem, but maybe because my husband has a knack for putting things together. It's sturdy and seems well made.
My only small complaint is that marks don't seem to come out of the surface very well. But that's what I get for having white furniture in a playroom. Other than that we love it."

Perfect for a playroom

"My daughter recently started a Montessori program and I love that she can easily reach everything on these shelves and then put them away again herself. I also love that this piece of furniture--though for children--is attractive enough for our dining room/playroom. I assembled it myself in about an hour--I would say the assembly was a non-issue, unless you aren't the directions-reading type!"

"Just got three of these the other day. Have been looking for a way to organize our playroom and get the toys put away and this fits the bill. Delivery was super speedy, packaging was great. Assembly was pretty easy. They are very solid and look great. Got strapping baskets for some shelves and the whole thing works well. May order another for the bedroom."

Assembly Troubles
Date - April 5, 2009
"We bought three of these bookcases for our child's playroom. The assembly was not as easy as promised. There were several times that we had to re-do steps because the directions weren't specific enough. Also, the pre-made screw holes only appeared in some places and not others, adding to assembly difficulties. As novices with home projects, each bookcase took about 1.5 hours to assemble.
More importantly, it was evident that this product was poorly made because with each bookcase that we assembled the dowels that are used in assembly punched through the bottom piece causing a large hole.
I would think twice before ordering another item from this vendor that requires significant assembly."
