Great Bed
"We bought this for our 5 year old son, and it is exactly what we were looking for. The bed is a classic design and would work for a boy, a little girl or in a guest room. The headboard is taller than I expected it to be, but it gives the bed grand look."

Great Bed
"We were looking for a twin trundle bed for our toddler and are very happy with this purchase. He adjusted very well to a "big boy bed". The bed is high quality (better than I've seen at PBK) and looks expensive. I can definitely see us using this bed for years to come."

Searched high & low!!
"I am NOT an easy customer in that I research, read reviews, ask a million questions and try to find the best deal. I write reviews for other companies that send me products to test so I don't freely dish out 'five star' reviews but I sincerely rate this bed a full five stars and more!!
After owning some play furniture (wall storage cubbies) by another REALLY popular children's / teens / adult furnishing store chain, and seeing how easily they get nicked and scratched, I knew that I'd be frustrated forking over hundreds of dollars on a bed only to be scratched & nicked like crazy over the next 10+yrs, I knew I had to look elsewhere.
I had been eyeing the Walden bed for years and finally purchased a full sized bed for our 7yr old and I'm SO glad that I did!!! Knock on wood :-) after 6 months, it STILL looks brand spankin' new. Literally NOT a single scratch on it!!
We bought my older son a bunk bed (my in laws insisted and paid for half - I actually wanted the Walden bed for him!!) and no exaggeration, it started to scratch within a month just from daily use.
You can tell with Land of Nod furniture (at least this Walden bed) that the wood is MUCH more dense as it's SO much heavier than my older son's (other brand) bunk bed...it's built much more solid and sturdy.
After spending over $1,000 on my older son's twin bunk bed set (w/ desk, dresser built in) I will say that at 11yrs old, he and his friends who sleep over will soon be growing out of it and can use more room. After seeing how quickly the kids grow into their beds, I decided to purchase a full sized bed for our7yr old. PLUS a full sized bed makes for a roomier bed for guests when they visit or Mommies to sleep with their kiddos when their kiddo isn't feeling well or is really scared. :-)
I love it so much that I'm TRYING to NOT purchase a 2nd Walden bed fo my older son for sheer variety!!
Lastly, if any of you are into Feng Shui, this bed is great in that there are no storage areas above, below or on the side of the bed (unless you add the trundle of course), and the footboard is lower than the headboard. :-)"

Solid quality for children being children.
"Twin 4 year old boys being boys. Purchased 2 Walden sets including 2 full beds with head/foot boards, guard rails, mattresses, night stands, dressers & bedding. My boys have used these sets for a year. My boys aren't exactly gentle on their bedroom gear. They jump on their beds (against my wishes). They use dressers & night stand like rough and tumble boys. These bedroom sets hold up exceptionally well. I foresee many wonderful years of use in the future. I like them so much, I'll be purchasing two matching desks soon! The built in safety features are smart; solid matching side guards , anti-tipping kits, drawers that only allow to open one at a time. It's a great investment for your child's bedroom furniture. Solidly built for children being children."

Sturdy, timeless, ready for the monkeys!

Perfect for my kids
"I purchased the chocolate and white Walden furniture sets for my son and daughter. The furniture is attractive, well put togther and perfectly sized for their rooms. I have been very pleased and recommend it to anyone! My children are 9 and 10 and I thought it was very appropriate for them, not just younger kids."

Love, Love, Love
"I purchased the full bed, nightstand and wardrobe (along with a comfy mattress from this site) for my 2.5 year old son. I was nervous about making an internet purchase for furniture but have to say that I am extremely happy I went with the Chocolate Walden set. I keep finding reasons to hang out in his room and admire his new furniture. The quality is GREAT. The bed is very sturdy and beautiful. The wardrobe is ingenious in that it does not allow you to open but one drawer at a time to prevent tipping over. Love it! My son will use this for many years. I may even get it in white for my daughter when she's older."
