Super noisey and super fun
"This was one of our son's favorite first toys. We bought the yellow one, which I recommend for the little loop! We attached it to the stroller with those plastic rings (never had to worry about losing it!) and Ziggy loved squeezing and shaking the head! Some people could find the noise annoying but it didn't bother us. Too cute:)"

A life saver during teething!
"We got this pink one. when my baby girl was around 6 months. Ididnt think she would love it as much as the giraffe, but she is obsessed! She loves the two little nobs on top-probably because they are a little like mommy's u know whats!"

Unique with a squeak
"Someone bought this for our son as a baby shower gift. I love that it is a unique alternative to Sophie the giraffe (we also have Sophie). Just know that it does "squeak" when your baby squeezes it. My son was scared at first, but eventually got over it. At 17 months, he still keeps it in his toy room and actually gets a kick out of squeezing and shaking him. We have the Yellow one!"

Happy Teething
"I have 2 babies under 2 and this toy (although a bit pricey for a teether) is a great investment! It keeps my kids happy and that makes me feel like a great Mommy! This is not our average teether, that you worry about the kids tearing open or ripping apart. This teether definitely is the "what you pay is what you get" standard in quality!!"

"Gret toy. My 6mo loves it. I didn't give it 5 stars because the squeaker is fairly obnoxious. It's is a lot louder and more shrill than the one in Sophie. During the day it's tolerable but in the evening when in tired I try not to have her play with it cuz the noise will get to you"

Sophie's Sidekick
"It's a good thing these little mushrooms made it into our little one's life because Sophie the giraffe needed a break! Our son loves his little mushrooms - he swats at them and squeaks them (he actually seems more engaged with the little thing, whereas Sophie goes instantly to his mouth). Same great material as Sophie - pliable and easy to hold and chew."

Cute but Noisy
"I purchased this toy based on how cute it was and the script on the box said that it is great to help develop motor skills of little ones. Once I brought it home and took it out of the box and squeezed it I then noticed that the squeak in this toy is highly annoying. But when my 2 year old nephew came over he grabbed it and kept squeezing it. So I am guessing kids love it but parents might hate it. All in all cute but bad noise."

Entertaining
"This was a good toy for my daughter at around 3 months old. She used it more as a toy for the sounds though then as a teether."

chan gnon (blue)
"we have one of these little guys. my little dude loves it. my two year old is equally intrigued. i only gave it 4 stars because the squeaker inside is too loud for my personal taste... but then again... so are my kids :)"

Love Lupe
"My son love the yellow dude who we called "Lupe". This was nearly 2 years ago and I'm back here today buying my 3rd one for another baby gift. People always ask where I get them after their baby loves them just as much as mine did."

not what I thought
"very cute but I did not know there was a squeaker inside and it sounds like a dog toy, very annoying!! Also, the blue one has a top like a nipple and my 4 month old gets a little frustrated when milk doesn't come out."

Love Love it!
"This is by far the best teether my son has ever had! He became interested in it around 4 months and used it up until around 9 months. We never left the house without it! It really helped him on those hard teething days when nothing else helped! He would just gnaw away on it and stopped crying. We just love this little cute gnome! The only thing I didn't like at first was that the toy sounds like a dog squeak toy and my two small dogs would go nuts when they heard it. They would try and snatch it away from my son! But after several re directions, they stopped and just got used to it. I would highly recommend this! I'm pregnant again and will definitely be using it for my baby. Introduce it early though."

A classic in our house...
"I got the boy version of this for my son when he was a baby. And have just gotten this one for my new baby girl. They are wonderful. Easy for little hands to grasp, soft in case they bam themselves in the face, non toxic, and an excellent teether. Highly recommend!"

Charming Favorite!
"My daughter has Gnon Yellow and loves him. It is just as charming as Sophie the Giraffe but more unique. Lightweight and easy to grip for little fingers. If the family dog loves squeaky toys, be prepared to run interference!"

Loud squeaking, but good
"We like the yellow Gnon, but our 3-month old son is still getting used to the loud squeaking noise. It startles him sometimes, but I think as he gets older he will enjoy it more (he also has Sophie the giraffe--same issue)."

Not a winner for my boys
"Neither of my twin boys found the chan pie gnons very enchanting. I was so excited to purchase these, based on the reviews I read. But when teething time came around, I couldn't do anything to make these toys enticing. My boys preferred things that were a little harder, or rubberier, than the soft texture of these toys."
