Beautiful, Well Made & Versatile Chest

Well made toy box
"This toy box seems to be very solid & well made- the opening mechanism works very well- holds open the lid without falling down on my 2 year old. Will look great in our playroom for now, and then at the foot of a bed when the kids are older."

Beautiful wood!
"Well I wanted something that would double as a toy chest/entryway bench. This is great! Solid wood with a beautiful finish. I purchased the espresso. The only difficulty I had was assembling the lid. It would really help if two adults shared that task. That said, it has plenty of room for storage, very sturdy and heavy plus it is a beautiful piece of furniture."

Excellent quality
"We purchased the "beat our chest toy chest" and were very surprised by the quality and workmanship so evident in your product. Simplicity and elegance. The wood was naturally beautiful and the finish was amazing. As someone who loves to work with wood I was humbled. Someone put some serious thought into the design and some amazing craftmanship went into the manufacturing process. It was easy to set up and everything worked exactly as it was deigned to. Would you please make some grown up furniture as well?"

"We purchased this Toy chest for our grand daughters 1st birthday...We wanted something that would grow with her.While she is little its PERFECT for her toys,then as she gets older her baby dolls,love letters then all the way on to quilts! A GREAT quilty,very easy to assemble .LOVE the slow stop/ closing hinges(good for little fingers). Will last for generations !! A very happy customer,Thank you Land of Nod"

Perfect Toy Box and Incredible Customer Service!
"We only have one grandchild and he was two at Christmas so you can imagine how excited these grandparents were to have Santa visit at our house again. Our grandson was in awe when he saw toys in his new beautiful toy box. We expected him to disregard the toybox and just fixate on the toys but he kept saying, "My toybox, Nana. My toybox!" His parents took it home and he entertains himself all day putting his stuff inside his own chest. When it first arrived and his Papa easily assembled it, we noticed a scratch on the lid. I considered keeping it since we had also ordered the precious striped cushion but I called customer service anyway. They said absolutely not to keep anything from the Land of Nod that was not perfect and even though Christmas was only 4 days away, they sent us a brand new one and then arranged to pick the other one up at no charge the day after Christmas. I could not be more pleased and look forward to sharing about the Land of Nod with other new grandparents!"

Great toy box
"My husband had planned to make our two year old grandson a toy box, but just couldn't seem to get around to it. I ordered this one and was leery that it wouldn't stand up to his very high standards. He was so pleased. It was very well constructed, easy to assemble, all needed parts were included with excellent instructions. Our grandson loves slamming the lid and our daughter loves the look and functionality. Everyone is happy!!!!"

Fabulous Toy Box
"We received this toy box as a gift when our first child was about 1. She has always been middle of the road in terms of her height, and this toy box was still perfect for her to open, reach in, and get out what she wanted. The box has a fantastic safety feature in the stay open lid so little fingers don't get pinched, and it looks great in any room."

So great that we are getting ready to buy a 2nd!
"Purchased the midnight blue toy box in 2007 for my son's first Christmas. He is now 5 and the toy box is in excellent condition. A few minor scratches from 5 years of everyday use, but nothing a blue Sharpie will not conceal. Our second son was recently born and we will purchase the same toy box for him. (Thankful that the toy box is still offered 5 years later) Also, the Land of Nod toy box cover/cushion makes the toy box look great and makes it a comfortable bench."

"This toy chest is so gorgeous. I'd been debating whether or not to spend that much money on a toy box, but I'm so happy we did. The quality is superior. There was a pretty strong smell out of the box, but it went away quickly. We love it and it holds a TON of stuff!"

practice and beautiful
"This toy box had been excellent. It is a great size, it is very safe and sturdy. It is very easy for little kids to get items out without the worry of the lid falling on their head. It also looks great; its appearance is so timeless that we will use ours for general storage in our lounge. We have loved the product so much that we purchased a second toy box for our sons room."

Quality unbelievable
"When it comes to the nod nothing beats its quality. I purchased this beautiful chest in chocolate. I must say it is absolutely beautiful. Perfect addition to our son's nursery. Unlike other toy chest, the quality is on point. Most other chest are flimsy but this one is very durable! The best part is the safety. No matter how high or low a child keeps the lid it will not slam on your child's hand. When the lid is closed it makes a perfect seat for your little one. We purchased the toy chest cusion as well that fits perfectly on top of the lid."

Conceal the Chaos!
"I love these boxes (bought 3)! They are a nice way to conceal the mess in our home. They fit in well with our decor and hold many of my children's toys. My only complaint is that I wish the top would stay open wider. It often slowly falls down when my children are pulling out toys from inside."

Versatile storage that's safe for toddlers!
"What a great buy this turned out to be! We got this for my son's first birthday in anticipation of all the toys he would get for Christmas/Bday. We keep it in our living room and it looks great.
What I love is:
1) Its impossible for him to pinch his fingers. The door won't slam shut and there are cut outs to ensure he won't shut it on his fingers.
2) Looks great in my living room.
3) Actually serves as extra seating in my living room.
4) When he gets older, it will look great in his room.
5) I can imagine using this in my room when he no longer needs it. (It's that nice of a piece)."

"Exceeded my expectations! This is a very solid piece of furniture and looks very nice. The chocolate bead board is the one I purchased and could not be happier. Easy install and only needed a screwdriver! Nice hinges so the little ones don't slam the door and bang up their fingers."
