Beautiful wood!

"Well I wanted something that would double as a toy chest/entryway bench. This is great! Solid wood with a beautiful finish. I purchased the espresso. The only difficulty I had was assembling the lid. It would really help if two adults shared that task. That said, it has plenty of room for storage, very sturdy and heavy plus it is a beautiful piece of furniture."

"We purchased the "beat our chest toy chest" and were very surprised by the quality and workmanship so evident in your product. Simplicity and elegance. The wood was naturally beautiful and the finish was amazing. As someone who loves to work with wood I was humbled. Someone put some serious thought into the design and some amazing craftmanship went into the manufacturing process. It was easy to set up and everything worked exactly as it was deigned to. Would you please make some grown up furniture as well?"

"This toybox is beautiful and worth the money! It took me about 45 minutes to put together and I needed an extra person to help me put the lid on, but it wasn't too bad. Even if I didn't have toys I wanted to hide, this would make a great bench for any part of my house. High quality!"

Great Purchase Experience

"I purchased this over the phone at a store, then picked it up at the dock without fighting holiday mall traffic or paying for shipping! I love the classic look WITH the modern safety hinge. It has a larger volume than the Ikea and JCPenney toyboxes that I looked at. My husband loves the look so much he wants one for HIS toys. Very pleased."

"I have bought many a many toy chest in my 19 years of having kids and 4 boys later of destruction. This was our most recent purchase for our youngest son who is 2 and I have never been so pleased with a toy chest. We got it in white and it has remained white, it is extremely durable and cleans very easy. I love the slow close and stop on it so our little one can't slam his fingers in it. There is also plenty of room and being a designer it is quite cute and works well with his sailboat nantucket theme. We also purchased the cushion for the top so it doubles as a seat and just makes it more pleasing to his room's style."

Disappointing quality

"We have ordered a lot of furniture in the past from LoN and have never before been disappointed. This toy box is an exception to the usual quality. The first chest we received had improperly drilled bolt holes so that we could not tighten the parts together. LoN did send a replacement but not only did the second chest have the same problem in different areas, not all of the necessary hardware was included. Considering 2 defective chests and the hassle of repacking and shipping everything for return, I would recommend skipping this item."

Loved it so much, bought two!

"We recieved the toy chest as a shower present. We loved it in our son's nursery so much that when he turned 6 months and we needed more storage we bought another. We have one in white and another in the navy blue. I put the toy chest together myself in about 15 minutes. Very easy and very safe, our son has pulled himself up on it and the lid will not close on his hands. Love this toy chest. Plus it looks great in our home! Very stylish!"

"We bought this for our new baby's nursery and love it! It was fairly simple to put together and it seems very sturdy. You will need 2 people to put it together. It was hard to find a toy chest that looked like a nice piece of furniture and would also fit our nursery decor...after much research, we finally settled on this toy chest and we're very pleased!"
