"I bought this for my son's first birthday because I wanted something he would keep and pass on to his children some day. He is three now and still loves to play on it! No dents but the lettering can become scuffed. We're in the military and everywhere we go people ask where we got it and some even ask if it was mine as a child. I loved these so much that I bought the silver roadster for my 2nd child for his first birthday and now they drive all over the house together! Definitely worth the money!"

Strong truck, weak steering wheel

We Love It

"We purchased this truck last Christmas for our grandson who turned 2 the February following Christmas. It has always been an inside toy at our house. He tips it on its side and "fixes" it with his tools and batteries (it doesn't need batteries, but he puts them in anyway). It is so classic, and we get many comments and questions about where we got it."

"We bought this for my son (almost 1) for Christmas. He loves it. It was pretty easy to assemble. I love the sturdy design. My son hasn't figured out the steering yet, so her runs into things a lot. My husband and I love the classic look."

Great for a One Year Old

"Our son loves to ring the bell, it looks great in his room AND it is functional. Our one year old fits nicely on the seat and likes to be pushed around by his daddy. Anytime we sit him on this he laughs and smiles. We took this with us as a prop for his one year photos and they turned out great. Recommend."

"We received this fire engine as a gift for my son's first birthday. He loved it! It is a great height - easy for a one year old to sit on and push themselves around on. And the back is the perfect size to put a stuffed animal to ride along! I now have a one year old daughter and she loves it just as much!"

"My 2 1/2 year old loves fire engines so I bought this to fuel his obession. I had a hard time putting the ladder part together finally I went to my local hardware store and got longer screws. The steering is really tight and my son has a hard time navigating with it. But it's really nicely constructed and takes a lot of abuse."

Adorable fire engine

"I have to admit, I bought this fire engine before my son was even born because I loved it so much! It sits on top of his Land of Nod District 28 Armoire! We get tons of compliments on it, people always think it is actually vintage. Now that my son is 1 we finally took it down and let him try it out. So far it's a bit too big/heavy, but he does love to ring the bell :-)"

Super cute, but tough to scoot.

"Stinkin' adorable fire engine, however my son has a real hard time scootin' it. He got it for his first birthday and he's now nearly 17 months and still struggling. His heel keeps hitting on thee back fenders. Who knows, maybe it'll get better as his legs get longer...but for now he does still enjoy it.
I also wish the bell string had an attached spot so it wouldn't always fall out of reach on the hood."

"The fire truck is absolutely gorgeous. The detail and finish on this product are amazing. My nephew (3 years old) loved it and continues to play with it on and off a few months later. It is a bit smaller than I had imagined and I think it would probably be an even better purchase for a slightly younger child."
