Excellent Product!
"Our whole family loves these Nod Chairs! Our 2 year old daughter enjoys lounging during family movie nights and the soft, comfy cushions are super inviting. When our daughter isn't taking advantage of the chair, our dogs are very quick to curl up and take a quick snooze. Thankfully, the cover is easily removed for machine washing ... which makes the chair look brand new again! These are the perfect combination of durability, comfort and style and we recommend these chairs to all of our friends with kids."

Can Handle Anything!
"We got two of these chairs for our 1 yo and 3 yo for Christmas - and the chairs (even the pink!) can withstand anything! They have been jumped on, flipped over, spilled on, made into "beds", made into forts, Dad even uses them as footrests. Washing was a breeze, and they did not shrink, change color, pill, bleed or anything. Compared to similar chairs elsewhere, they were reasonably priced, and the quality can't be beat!"

Great purchase!
"We bought this chair for my son's first birthday. He loves it! He climbs all over it and it is holding up perfectly. He also sits in it for short periods of time and it is a great size for him but will also work for a few more years too. We had it personalized with his name and it looks great!"

pretty good but pricey
"We bought this as the "big ticket item" for our 1 year old's 1st bday gift & I'm very pleased with the overall quality. Machine washed & dried the cover before putting it together & it came out great. It is a pain to assemble so I don't see myself washing it as frequently as I had originally thought & my only real disappointment with it is that we cannot get the embroidered name centered & after many reassembles the "Joey" still pulls to the right & with as much as this chair costs I was disappointed in that. But my kid LOVES it so I'll let it go. :) I would hesitate to reccomend this to a friend is because I felt it was really expensive and I wasn't 100% happy with it BUT I'm pretty sure I'll purchase a second one for my younger son when he turns one next year (yes, my kids are really close together!:)"

Perfect fit!
"I bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it! The chair is the perfect fit for him, and the handle on the top makes it easy for him to drag around the house. The chair is extra durable and can with stand a rough 5 year old boy. The monogrammed name gives the chair a personalized touch! Would highly recommend!"

Love, love, love
"I ordered this chair monogramed for our 2 year old son, William - it is identical to the picture of the product on the website. It spot washes perfectly (yes, we let him snack in it) and is his favorite place to hang out and read or watch Curious George in the house. I am going to order one for my nephew as soon as he is old enough - he will be here March 2013. Thank you to my friends who recommended this chair! Awesome purchase and great gift idea!"

Great chair for a 2 year old!
"We gave this chair to our two year old son for Christmas. He saw it under the tree and immediately recognized it as something just for him and ran to go sit in it. He loves to use the handle to carry it into whatever room we are hanging out in. He also loves to keep favorite books in the pocket. We've had it for several months now, and he still uses it all the time."

Great pick!
"I purchased this chair after reviewing others at competitors like pottery barn, etc. The fabric has the tightest fit on the foam inserts as compared to other chairs (too loose and looked sloppy!), and the body seems to be the most compact...yet can hold kids from a few months to teenage years.
The only downside was that the inserts arrived a few days before the fabric, causing me to have to find storage during a busy holiday season...but overall we are very happy with the purchase and my discerning 18 month old loves the chair."

Great chair
"My 1 yr old has yet to really sit in this chair (we got it for him 3 mos ago), but if we sit him in it, he gets a big grin on his face - he just doesn't like to stay in one place that long. I have a feeling he will love it later......"

Skeptical at first, but now I like it
"The bad:
–foam inserts and cover were delivered separately, two days apart.
–cover was nearly impossible to put on. I wasn't sure it would even fit.
–when I finally got the cover on, the chair looked terrible and misshapen.
–I'm dreading the time when I have to wash the cover and struggle to get it off and on.

The good:
–my son loves sitting it the chair and climbing all over it.
–the color blue is nice and the material looks like it will hold up.
–after a week or so, the foam seemed to have shifted or settled and the cover looks okay now, though nowhere near as nice as it does in the photo.

Bottom line:
Would it be so difficult for Land of Nod to assemble the chair before shipping it so we parents/caregivers don't have to struggle?
$100 bucks seems like a lot. $60 seems more like it.
All that being said, this chair seems to be the best and most attractive one out there, and, aside from all the downsides, we're happy we bought it."

Held up for 4 years now being passed down
"We have had the NOD chair since my son was a baby! Although the cover has stained now the actual chair part is perfection. Now that my son has outgrown it. I have removed the cover and ordered a pretty pink one for my sweet little girl arriving in January! I had no idea the chair would last us through two kiddos! She will have no idea her's is not brand new as the cover will be! Thanks LON for letting us purchase covers and replace them! Great buy!"

Great Gift
"I bought the personalized nod chair for my grandson Zachary for his 2nd birthday. He just turned 5 and still loves his chair. His baby brother Ben loves it too so now we are going to order him one for christmas. It's so durable and the cover is machine washable which is great for messy kids."

"My son's Land of Nod chair has become an essential part of his bedroom. It is located next to his book rack, and he sits in it for an hour each day during quiet time and happily reads books. It is comfortable and looks great. My 2 year old daughter wants one of her own."

You Will Love It
"This chair is great. My son, who used to merely sit in it, now uses it as a base for setting up train tracks. My cats like to lounge in it and my husband even squeezes his big old rear-end into it instead of sitting on the playroom floor. It never loses its shape and launders easily. I plan to get another one for my daughter when she is big enough."

Not the easiest to get together
"For some reason, I envisioned this as being an easy zip-on/zip-off process when I need to wash the cover. You can forget that - it took alot of elbow grease to get the 4 different padding pieces stuffed into this cover (especially the arms - oh my!), so I will be as careful as possible so that the cover doesn't need washing any more often than necessary - it will be quite an ordeal to completely deconstruct this chair and reassemble every time the cover needs washed. Bummer."
