"As a children's librarian who is anticipating her first grandchild, a bookcase was an essential purchase for baby Kate.I filled it with all of my favorite board books and gave it to my lovely daughter-in-law at her shower. The color is a true white not an off-white. Searched the internet for a bookcase that displays the book covers as they are works of art in their own right. Found exactly what I was looking for at Land of Nod! Can't wait to start reading to her."

Best Bookcase Ever
"I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I bought this for my two younger children and it is perfect. The size is exactly right for them and it looks fantastic in the room. The design really is perfect for children. Friends who have come over have commented on how they love this too. I've recommended it to several friends."

Great for book browsing
"This attractive shelf works well in any room of the house and my daughter just loves looking at her books. It is so much easier for her to pick titles this way compared to the regular shelf we had been using before."

Awesome bookcase!

Great for toddlers
"My two year old LOVES this bookshelf because it's just his size. It has served a really great purpose for us, by keeping the books in his room organized while also enabling him to be involved with selecting his books each evening because he can now see them easily. The only downside is that I expect him to grow out of it in a few years, and for the price you'd hope for something with more longevity. The shelf is good quality, but I think the price is high for what it is."

So Disappointed! :(
"We looked at this book bin for a long time before purchasing it. When we opened the box there was a split in the side panel about 3-4" long. We exchanged it. We opened the 2nd box and the SAME type of damage but on the OPPOSITE panel! The damage wasn't done during shipping. After two strikes we were out....we didn't trust the craftsmanship of the item. I really wanted it to work out. Seems like there is some type of defect going on for them to BOTH be damaged in a similar fashion."

Good looking.
"It looks bigger in the photos that in person. I was a bit surprised it's pretty small -- but thankfully it holds a good amount of books - we probably have about 40-50 books in it (mostly thin paperbacks). It looks a lot neater than when we had a regular bookcase. It's very nice quality and I think my kids are enjoying being able to see the books more easily."

Sturdy, Attractive, Useful!
"Holds many more books than I expected; we're using it for coloring and drawing books in our play room. Books are easy to access (and put away). Well-built and the blue color is just right! I would love to have another one for picture books!"

Great Purchase
"Perfect for my son's bedroom. We go to the library all the time and pick out tons of books. I fill the bookcase every few weeks with new books and my sons can see all the books at one glance and pick out the ones they want to read. It gets them really excited about reading books."

Greatest Bookshelf!
"This is the best bookshelf... exactly what we wanted! Very sturdy, stylish, and holds tons of books! It even comes already assembled!! It is very kid friendly (my 2 year old can reach all the books), yet looks good enough to have out in the living room. We will soon be purchasing a couple more."

Perfect Design!
"I got this bookcase for my two year old grandson. It is the perfect design for him ( and his mom ) to be able to find books easily. You are able to see all of the books so easily! He is also able to put his books away without the stress of trying to stand them up like in a regular style case. It is beautifully made and looks great in the family room. Very sturdy!!"

A Reader's Bookcase
"My house is loaded with books and bookcases. After hemming and hawing about whether I should get another bookcase, I chose this one for my kids to encourage them to pick up their books. It works! Seeing the titles really helps litlte ones to remember what books they have and to find the ones they want to read. Plus, the blue looks outstanding! LOVE IT. (:"
