"We gave this to our daughter for her 6th birthday and it has been a huge success! The projects are easy enough for her to complete (with a little help) but also detailed enough for her to feel a real sense of accomplishment! She carries all her "supplies" around in the little case so they don't get left all over the house. Great kit...We highly recommend!!!!"

""Santa" brought this to my six year old daughter and it has been a gift that keeps on giving! She quickly learned the basic stitches from the illustrations provided and made a cute little kitty from the pre-cut felt. She has gone on to make the dog, purses, pillows and doll beds all creatively embellished with the felt cut outs and buttons, also included with the kit. Our neighbor, who is two years older, made the elephant out of our kit then went home to beg for her own. The orange case is sturdy enough to store sewing supplies long term and fun enough that it's also been a doll suitcase and a picnic basket. This kit continues to come out for play time and my daughter is wonderfully, creatively engaged. Well worth the money."

"I decided to take a risk and buy this for my 6.5 year old (ha!) because she is dying to learn how to sew. I love the bright colors and fun projects included in the kit, but I'm most taken by the strawberry pin cushion just like the one my Grandma had years and years ago."
