Great Purchase
"We have four children under the age of five with many toys. The toys started to take over the house. This bookcase was one of several that we purchased and has helped us tremendously in organizing our playroom. Not only does it look nice but it holds up great as well. The kids are always taking toys out and putting them back in and these shelves still look new! It's been almost a year since we purchased them."

Easy to assemble & high quality bookcase
"I recently purchased this 6-cube bookcase for our soon to be baby's closet. We did not want to invest in re-doing her closet yet, so purchasing this unit is allowing lots of extra storage. The item was shipped immediately and arrived in a few days. Although you have to put it together, there are few pieces, easy to understand directions and took less than an hour to assemble. The storage unit looks great in the closet and can eventually be moved out of there as a piece of furniture in another room. I highly recommend this piece!"

Excellent bookcase and changing table too!

We've used this since our son was born as both a bookcase and a changing table. We set the changing pad on top, and have several baskets underneath with diapers, wipes, and burpcloths. But we also have mounds of books. It was very easy to put together and it doesn't look too babyish, so it's been easily transitioning with him now that he's almost 2. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile piece for a child's room or otherwise.

Great Bookcase. Modern, clean look
"Came some-assembly-required, but not an issue nor was it hard to put together. Is a great addition to the nursery. Holds many books, baskets, etc. Like the clean look. Seems like pretty good quality, sturdy."

Excellent product
"This arrived very quickly and in great shape. There was assembly required, but it was nothing my husband and I (who are not handy at all) couldn't take care of in an afternoon. The finish looks gorgeous and it is nice and sturdy. A couple of friends with kids have put a changing pad on top and used it for a quick change. This looks great with our other dark finish furniture."

Great bookcase
"This bookcase has many uses. We used it mainly for storage with bins when we first got it and now it's being used as book storage. The separate cubbies make it versitile. We just ordered another since we always need more storage!"

Solid Construction, fair price
"I bought two of these bookcases to help organize my daughter's playroom. One holds toys in bins and the other is filled with books. They have held up extremely well against all the craziness that a 2 year old can create. They are beautifully crafted and don't look like 'playroom' furniture. Excellent purchase!"

A housesaver!

Good, but...
"There are a lot of things I like about this bookcase - the espresso color, the size, look, real wood, ease of assembly, fast shipping. But the downside is, it's still flat-shipped, assemble-yourself furniture, and that has flaws. The front molding on our shelf is damaged and pulling apart, but we didn't realize it until we had the shelf nearly built. At that point, we aren't going to waste the time, energy, and money to exchange it. So we're stuck with it. It's one of the risks ordering sight unseen. Otherwise I've had good success with Land of Nod."

Wonderful Bookcase
"This bookcase arrived quickly and was so easy to put together. My husband and I had it up in less than 20 minutes. We wanted something to hold our daughter's books and toys and still look nice in the living room and this did the trick. When my 8 month old daughter saw it, she was so excited. It held all of her books and is the perfect height so she can reach up and pull her books down to look at. She will sit in front of it and play with her toys on the shelves. It is very durable and doesn't have a scratch on it! I love how it fits the fabric cubes that we already had filled with toys. I plan on getting another for her bedroom very soon. We get so many compliments on it!"

Great for storage and organization
"This was a great addition to our son's bedroom. It holds so much and can clean up a room full of toys in a matter of minutes. My son is great with pulling the baskets out and choosing toys. He's learned it can be fun to clean up by putting his toys back in the baskets and putting the baskets back in the cubbies. It matches all of the espresso furniture, so it can easily be matched up with any espresso pieces from Land of Nod. I use one basket for Mommy's stuff, which is extra wipes, creams, etc. so I can reach it while changing diapers if need be. This can also be used as a regular bookcase without using the baskets. I just love the usefulness and versatility of this piece. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to organize and simplify!"

"We searched high and low for a bookcase that would hold up to my two boys and all their books, cars, planes, and other small things. LOVE IT!
"We live in a small NYC apt and toys tend to rule the place no matter how organize I am and how much I try to hid in the closet. After we decided it was time to get rid of some toddler toys like the toy kitchen and dollhouse which was in the Living Room because there are not enough space in their bedroom, I know I still need something for kids to stash their toys instead of ugly plastic boxes everywhere and they don't have to keep going back and forth to their bedroom closet. This bookcase is just perfect...sturdy, well made, many colors to choose from and espresso is sophisticated and matches our entire LR plus perfect height for them to reach themselves easily. I did not fill every cube with a basket so we have flexibility to put games and other toys already in boxes. Now my LR finally looks less like a nursery and more adult, yet kids have what they want to play with right there. Price wise this is very reasonable compare to overprice Pottery Barn Kids furniture and cheap not well made Ikea/Home Depot I've seen. There are many different types of bins in every color you can imagine that fits exactly in the cube you can purchase with it. This is something I can keep even after kids move out for myself."
