Great Ornament
"Every year my husband and I get each other an ornament for Christmas since we first started dating. This is so that our tree would be filled with our own memories vs. random ornaments. When our first son was born we bought this and loved it so much it was one of the first things I bought when our second son was born. Very easy to use and creates such a great memory for the tree for years to come. Withstands toddler ornament disasters also as the material is strong and not very breakable."

Cute, easy, but takes a while to dry!
"This was a fun project, even though I could not get my daughter to keep her hand still. It is easy to use and does not make a mess.
However, it took a REALLY long time to dry. It was sitting on our kitchen table for several days.
Otherwise, this is great."

Pliable material, great keepsake!
"My kids enjoyed doing this. The material isn't sticky... yes, it's more pliable than the concrete-like ornaments you might be used to, but we like that b/c you can't break them as easily. (This is important with little kids.) Great keepsake & rather large so you can write more info on the back like date and age of kids."

Great Handprint Ornament
"I purchased two ornament impressions so that I could make a hand and footprint of my child's first Christmas. With the two products was able to make three handprint/footprint ornaments. They are extremely lightweight and great for a Christmas Tree."

Easy-to use
"I am not very artsy so I was a little concerned with this product, but it ended up being very easy and a great keepsake gift for my wife for Christmas. She loved it and we will have these impressions of our son forever!"

Great gifts for Grandparents
"The product was easy to use--the hardest part was getting my infant to keep her hand open and flat, but it's nice that you can easily re-do the mold if necessary. We are giving ours to our child's grandparents for Christmas. I looked at purchasing ceramic versions of these, but they looked more complicated and were much larger (my child is 8 months old, we needed something we could easily trim down to her size). We have let ours dry for several days--it is not super firm but I can tell it is dry. Like some other people commented in their reviews, I would probably not store the ornaments underneath something heavier because an imprint could probably still be made. Overall a good purchase"

It worked!
"I thought it was easy to use and it made a good impression. It's really light and not as high quality as a ceramic one, but I like it because I have little kids in the house. My 3 year old got to help with her baby brother's handprint and she likes to hang it on the tree (I am at ease cause I don't fear it getting broken!)"

Disappointed
"I like the old ceramic style ones better. These are feather-light foam, and hard to use. They are inferior in quality to the old fashioned breakable ones!"

Really Like
"We actually really like this product. I've purchased it for the last three years, and they've held up well over time. It does not ever get really "hard" like ceramic, but it does hold it's shape. I like that the ornaments are light weight enough to hang on my tree and that my little ones can't break them. The material is easy to work with (sort-of like light-weight playdough) and you can re-do your ornament as many times as you want. Here are some things i wish I'd known before I did my first one: It does take a long time to dry (like days), but it won't be workable after about 30 min. of air drying. I recommend tossing the "ring" that comes with it, and just rolling it out to the shape (circle or oval) that you want. If you're a perfectionist, I'd cut it with a knife as the "ring" has never once made a perfect circle due to not actually being a ring, but a strip of plastic with tape on one end (you're supposed to make your own ring). Use wax paper or foil and a regular rolling pin (if you have one). If it sticks to the pin, wait a bit and let it dry out a little. Save the box it came in to store it after the holidays are over. To write a name/date, we used a mechanical pencil w/o lead and made tiny "dots" instead of trying to make lines. Good luck! Oh- my two-year-old loved this this year. The last two years he did not appreciate it, but this year he thought it was a fun craft project and enjoyed looking at his other two and seeing how much he'd grown."

Kind of odd
"Was really excited because I wasn't going to have to mix or bake anything. But they don't quite seems to harden, other reviews said they don't dry all the way. I had no problem with it drying but I think I'll have to pack them away in the boxes because if anything touches them, it will leave an indentation on them. Easy to use but kind of odd that it's squishy even when dry."

Looks good but not good!
"Bought three of these for Christmas gifts for grandparents and for ourselves and it was very disappointing. Odd material as well. Did not make smooth edges when done. I dont recommend this product!"

Unhappy
"The material was very difficult to work with. It was tacky and stuck to the ring provided to shape it and also to my grandson's hands. Took forever to dry and once dry is very soft and feels as well as looks cheap. If you want a nice quality handprint go to a professional........"

It is what it is...
"Didn't read the reviews, oops! Thought it would harden completely and it's still slightly soft. I will have to keep this away from any kids. Thinking about spray painting it, maybe this will help it?
This is not a project for super young kids that like to grab clay type materials. Had to make this over and over until we had our child distracted enough for us to push his hand in it FAST."

Does not harden
"We followed the directions completely. But the ornament does not harden, even after days of drying, so it loses its shape and gets new indentations if you touch it. It has been more than a week since we did the impressions, and the ornaments are still squishy. We live in a very dry climate, so it's not humidity."

Holiday Fun!
"It was a little sticky at first, but then I read the directions to let it air dry to help dry out the mold. It was a lot of fun to make! It may not last a lifetime, but at least the memories making it will!"

Great Product For Your Kids!
"This product is great for your children to do on their own. Like the reviewers stated, this product is not ceramic, but a sort of foamy material, but it turned out nicely after it was finished. For the price, it's definitely worth it!"

Not ceramic--but that's ok!
"Like others, I also expected this product to be more ceramic in nature, but this is actually way better. This foamy material will last way longer in my house because it is far less likely to break. My young kids run around the house with their ornaments and I don't have to worry about them destroying it. So although it's not the traditional brittle material I expected-- I don't think that's a bad thing!"
