Who? Who wants to wake up?
"My daughter loves this clock, and she is a real night owl, so the theme is perfect. The owl sound is very realistic! However, she sleeps right through the alarm in the morning! This clock does not get little owls out of bed for school.
Note: Her twin sister got the cat clock, and disliked it very much. See my other review, "Not the Cat's Meow". A lot depends on the kid. If your child is very sensitive to ticking and to sounds in general, skip this one."

Love it!
"Very cute clock...and it's my daughter's favorite color. Seems to be well made. We do use it as an actual alarm clock, it certainly does the job!"

Wake Up Time
"I purchased this for my 2 year starting preschool this year and although she is usually awake before the clock makes the cutest sound she still yells, "It's wake up time!" as it Hoots."

Adorable and Educational
"I ordered this for my 16-month old daughter. Although she's a long ways off from being able to tell time, she is completely charmed by her new "tick tock". She loves pushing the button on the back to hear the owl sound. We do keep it out of reach on her dresser, but we bring it down every evening so that she can hear the owl and so that we can talk about what time it is. The clock itself is quite sturdy and goes really well with our decor. It's a cute update on a classic, and I'm really glad I got it."

Does not keep time/alarm TOO Loud
"We just received the clock today and since it came with batteries, we tried it right away. I set the time and although the second hand moves, the clock is not keeping time the hour and minute hand do not move. Also, we tested the alarm and is sooooo very loud. Th clock is cute and my daughter loves the colors but it will have to be replaced."

Great quality, realistic owl alarm sound!

Each of my kids (and niece, nephew) have a different 1 of these animal clocks from Nod, and each sounds like the animal chosen- the frog says "ribbit" the dog barks etc.
so it's just a matter of which animal sound you prefer to hear! And it is loud enough to wake you up (the whole purpose) but not annoying as is is a realistic animal sound! A very well made, cute, easy to use alarm clock that is reasonably priced."

Annoying Sound
"Clock is cute, appears to be well made, but the alarm sound is really annoying. And of course if you have a toddler they're going to want to listen to the alarm all the time. I guess I thought it would be a 'sweeter sound'. Also the bells are just for show."
