Nice accessory for toddlers room
"I bought 4 espresso book shelves for my daughters room. I like the contrast on the cream walls. I also have the LofN purple chair and poof just under the shelves to make a cozy reading area. I change the assortment of books for my daughter to choose from weekly."

"I searched around for a while for simple white shelves and was surprised to find these at a decent price with positive reviews (many others at other stores were expensive and had poor reviews.) I bought 2 white shelves initially for my daughter's nursery. The installation was pretty easy and they looked great in the room. They are really sturdy. Because of the narrow ledge, you can only fit so many books on the shelves so I can't see the weight capacity really being an issue. I like that the book covers are on display so you can see more than just the spine. It becomes more like artwork on the walls and really livens up the room. I just recently bought a 3rd shelf as her baby book library has grown! I definitely recommend these shelves and am considering the other colors for different rooms in my house."

Beautiful Way to Display Books like Artwork

"I purchased 6 of these ledges in order to make 3 rows of 4' long ledges (each ledge is 2' long). My daughter's nursery is not that big so I wanted to display her books without having to buy a bulky bookshelf. Also, these ledges are perfect for displaying books like artwork on a blank wall. So it has a dual purpose: space saver and artsy! I have gotten so many compliments on how cute and creative these ledges are. The wood is also high quality. I highly recommend!"

Decorative Shelves
"Purchased as decorative shelves for my 2 yr old's room, these provide a great way to display 4 or 5 books. They're well made but would have liked them to be a bit deeper than the <3 inches so books don't fall off as easily. Moving the shelves out of 2 yr old's reach solved this issue but since depth & cost, ie might well have been better off to make these '$10 ledges' myself, I am only giving them 4 stars."

very pretty
"got a few of these shelves for my daughter's nursery - I use them mostly for decoration and have a few books on them. For that purpose, they're great and look really good in the room. I wouldn't want to have them as a main way of organizing books, however, and they are pretty heavy so I wouldn't want my little one trying to get books down from them with the fear that they would fall down."

WONDERFUL BOOK LEDGE
"I bought 12 of these and have two rows of ledges. I love how these ledges allow you to display the beautiful covers of your favorite books. It looks like I created a mini library and all are special books are displayed on these ledges. It is a great way to decorate a empty wall. I am really happy with the quality and color."

Clutter Be Gone
"I purchased 3 of these and they look fabulous and keep the books off of the floor. It also saves tons of rooms from not having to have a bookcase in the bedroom. The books do fall off kind of easy, the reason I have it a four, but I just placed them up high so my toddlers couldn't pull them down all the time."

Books Fall off Easily
"Beautiful and of great quality. I got 4 of these six months ago for my 1 year old's old's play room and made 2 rows of shelves from them. They are mounted low so she can reach the books. The lip in the front is so short that the books fall off really easily, so sometimes when she goes to reach for 1 book several will fall off with it. Maybe older children who have a little more hand/eye coordination won't have this issue. They'd be great for picture frames or something that won't need to be taken on & off often."

Sturdy and Stylish
"I love the idea of displaying the covers of favorite books - it makes them so much more appealing for kiddos to grab and look at!
We have 2 of these between my daughter's bed and window - it's fun to rotate the display of her favorite titles AND to see her enjoy reading.
These shelves are great, easy to install, and are nice and solid!"

Perfect size for above bed!
"I put two of these above my sons headboard so he could display his superheroes and I could put a letter and book for decoration. They are perfect and come with the best measuring slip to help you put the screws! Love the quality of Land of Nod!"

Sanity saver
"I love these shelves. My kids are voracious readers and love to read in bed. My oldest child who sleeps in the top bed of a bunk would often fall asleep in a bed full of books. These shelves have given her a place to put her books and keep them tidy and out of the way. The only drawback, hence the four stars, is that it is practically impossible to hang them snug up against each other like a continuous shelf. My husband is an engineer and couldn't get them right, we ended up hanging them with a slight gap between them. It actually doesn't look too bad."

Very Sturdy!
"These shelves are well made! Purchased to put just above the kid table in my son's room. He can now sit and read and grab whatever book he wants. He is a toddler and its great that things are reachable for him. I purchased 2 of these in the natural wood color."

Installation is terrible
"I wish that these shelves came in a longer option. To achieve the look we wanted, we had to butt two shelves together, and getting them to line up properly was extremely difficult. The installation instructions are not helpful whatsoever, so by the end of it we were kicking ourselves for this purchase."

Good solution for small spaces!
"We purchased two of these book ledges for my son's small nursery. They are a great alternative for us to a standard bookshelf, which wouldn't fit in our space. They hold quite a few books each, but some of the lighter-weight books towards thefront of the ledge tend to fall when we open or close his nearby closet door. Other than that, these have been perfect!"
