"We purchased this for our daughter's room and are very pleased with it. It is a very well made and sturdy piece for the price. Easy to put together and goes well with our traditional decor. I would highly recommend this piece for any little girl's bedroom."

Perfect Girl Bookcase

"I looked for a bookcase for a long time that would complement my daughter's antique iron bed. This is perfect! I thought the open design of the bookcase might pose a problem holding books, but the spindles in the back prevent books from falling, and the ones on the sides are placed closely enough to hold everything in place. In addition to holding more than I ever imagined, I think it will grow with her, too!"

"I bought this for my newborn's nursery. It matched my furniture previously purchased perfectly-it is a warm country white color and the design of the wood trimmings are beautiful. It is delicate looking but very sturdy. I highly recommend this if you need extra storage for a child's room. It is great to hold books or diplay toys and pictures. It was very easy to put together..."

"This bookcase is amazing. It is so sturdy and also holds a lot of toys, books, etc. We have received so many compliments on the entire Jenny Lind collection in our daughter's room and each piece is worth every penny. We have this in "antique white" which is being discontinued (I wish it weren't because it is such a pretty color)!!"

"I bought this bookshelf for my daughter who was just getting into reading. I wanted a functional, sturdy bookshelf that displayed her books in a way that would catch her eye and get her even more excited about reading. This one did the trick! She's got her little trinkets on the top shelf and books fit neatly on the other shelves (well - most times they are neatly organized!). We both love this bookcase and it looks so cute in her room. Highly recommended."

"I looked and looked for a beautiful bookcase for my oldest daugher's room. She is a big reader and has hundreds of books. It was so hard to find something that is pretty and feminine yet functional enough to really make a difference in our storage issues. Plus, I wanted something that could stay with her for a long, long time. . .maybe even get passed down to the next generation (along with our love of reading, of course!). I didn't have a huge budget, so that made my search even tougher. I have to admit, I was hesitant about ordering furniture online. But Land of Nod did not let me down! This is the perfect piece and it came in a timely manner, at a reasonable price, is of great quality and. . .it is so beautiful!"

"SO easy to put together! Didn't need any tools unless you are going to anchor it to the wall, which is recommended. It says two people are needed to put it together but I did it on my own, it's not a massive bookcase. It's perfect for my daughter's nursery! Very nice details, doesn't look cheap at all, LOVE IT! I missed this piece on sale during Christmas so I had to suck it up and pay full price now but it's worth it! Compared to the cheap, boring bookcases at other retail locations in town, this is wonderful!"

"This bookshelf was easy to put together and makes the perfect addition to a baby's nursery. I love it because it is simple, yet classic. And it still has character - very unique and interesting design. I also like it because it is not bulky, so it doesn't have a huge presence in the room - which is perfect for a nursery. We didn't want anything too heavy. There are also pieces included to affix the shelf to the wall for safety. A wonderful purchase!"

"This bookcase is just perfect for a girls room - feminine, yet very sturdy. It can accomodate such a variety of items: books, dolls, animals, baskets - anything! It's just awesome - holds a lot yet doesn't dominate the space because of it's design. Highly recommend. Also, when I had a small issue, Land of Nod took care of it immediately and cheerfully."

"I loved the style of this bookcase as soon as I saw it. There are other Jenny Lind styles out there, but the top shelf is what characterizes this piece. The turning on the spindles is unique, too.
I had a white Jenny Lind crib, when I was born & was looking for a piece to accent my daughters room.
I looked all over and Land of Nod had the best picks for this style.
I bought this bookcase about one year ago online. It was shipped in one box. I put it together myself.
My daughter is already 16 months old and she uses it everyday.
She can easily grab her own books to read and toys to play with from the bottom 2 shelves. I keep her lamp and photo albums on the top shelf & special books on the second shelf.
It, like any bookcase, ought to placed close to a wall. But the design of it is so airy and light, it doesn't weigh down the room. That makes it stand out.
Many people comment on how nice it is, some assume it's an antique... which is great because the price was right. I have an antique armoire in the room in a dark stain finish, of a totally different style & it works!
It looks great in person. The shelves are well finished & very easy to keep clean. Love it!!!"
