Stylish
"I really wanted to get a glider that we could keep in the living room and it not look like "baby" furniture. This fits the bill perfectly. It's stylish, but still functions as a great glider.
I also got the ottoman, which I don't recommend getting. It's hard and not very comfortable....not really worth the extra cost."

kind of disappointed
"I have been eyeing this rocker for months. I purchased the chair a few weeks ago for our 5-month-old son's room. I was excited to replace the existing rocking chair. I have to say, I'm disappointed in this chair. I purchased the orange chair, after ording a fabric swatch to confirm I liked the shade of orange. Both our son's rooms are bright colors and cheerful - we're not afraid of color. However, the orange is an odd shade of "safety orange". Not a deal-breaker, so we will make the color work. My main disappointments with this chair are the size - it looks much larger in the catalog and online, and it's not a glider. The seat of the chair is short, meaning when I'm seated in it, the chair only comes to the middle of my thighs. I feel like I'm going to slide out of it. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 160lbs.; pretty average for someone who just had a baby. The chair is very stiff - there's no "squishy, cozy" feeling when I'm sitting in the chair with my son. Finally, this chair is advertized as a rocker glider. The chair does rock, but there is no gliding motion at all. Big disappointment. I ordered this chair from the internet without seeing it in a store. I'll never do that again. I don't think I woud have purchased this chair if I would have had the opportunity to sit in it first. Now it's mine for keeps."

Wonderful glider
"First bought one of these gliders when I had to babysit for 5 weeks. Have a bad back, can rock but not walk and infant. Was delighted with the comfort and fact that my feet rested perfectly on the floor. Came home from babysitting and brought one for our house. Best thing to sit in for a bad back that I have ever found. Difficulty is everyone coming into our sun room goes directly to sit in the glider and I am left sitting on a kitchen chair. Am thinking of buying another one for the TV room."

Very stylish
"This glider is beautiful. The fabric that is used for the orange is a different weave of the microfiber and is very soft. In terms of comfort, it's definitely not something you can sink into or fall asleep in. The gliding motion isn't as effortless as I thought it would be and actually takes a good amount of work to have it rock back and forth. The ottoman has almost no padding on it and isn't comfortable at all to rest your feet on without a cushion on it. But the chair itself is ergonomically designed so it's comfortable to sit in. Also the armrests are positioned in such a way that makes nursing a baby very comfortable. Overall I love the look and took into heavy consideration that this is a furniture piece that will eventually end up in our living room. So I would say that it is relatively comfortable and beautifully constructed. Monte Design seems to a very earth-friendly furniture maker, which is another plus!"

Too Nice!
"One of the most comfortable, ergonomic gliders I have ever sat in, and I tried at least a dozen before this one. Unfortunately, it is quite expensive and my infant definitely threw up on it and peed on it within the first 3 months of using it."
