OK, I'm now a believer.
"This is the story of how I learned that sometimes what you read on-line is true. I had no time or inclination to drag my very pregnant body to a brick-and-mortal Land of Nod or other children's store, so I conducted my search for my pre-K son's new bed from the comfort of my computer desk. I found the Simple line at the LON website and with the expectation of at least SOME disappointment, I ordered the twin size. First, the delivery service was on-time, professional and fast. The bed itself was exactly as advertised: well-constructed, beautifully finished and not too cutesy. That was 8 months ago. I am happy to report that the bed holds up to my son's jumping, my husband's lounging and my occasional overnight camping (with baby). I have had issues with the slat system in other bed brands, but this version is stable and strong. My one regret: I cheaped out and bought another brand of twin mattress. It fits fine but creaks with movement. When my baby needs his own twin, I'll get the Simple again, but with the recommended mattress. (Also got the "robots" duvet which my son loves.)"

nice bed
"Nice looking, good quality bed. Varnish is light, wood is strong. Bed is lower to the ground than most adult beds, but otherwise very similar. Will last many years. We were concerned about going with a full-size bed because our kid's room is not that big but it is beautiful and gives us nice storage under the bed and a big play space on the bed."

Awesome, sturdy
"We started buying products from Land of Nod for the past couple of years & have been very impressed with it all. This bed is no exception. It has clean lines & simple desgin, perfect for our sons room. Since this is his "big boy" bed we wanted something that could with stand the test of time...& our son! Its Sturdy construction is very obvious. We bought this bed hoping that the "Natural" color would match the "honey" color Storagepalooza We had previously purchased and we couldnt be happier with how well it matched. We had it delivered & assembled... the guys were very polite, on time, & cleaned up after they left. Over all, I give this bed a 10, 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, 100%...you get the picture!!"

Nice solid bed
"I found this bed to be a solid, no frills purchase. The hardwood frame means few creaks and groans even when the whole family piles on and the slats are a solid support for the mattress. The look fits into my ideal plan for a young child's room: I will be able to change from robots (the current obsession) to other themes easily as my boy grows. The delivery service made this purchase pretty painless, too."

Simply Perfect!
"This furniture will "hopefully" last through my son's childhood and early adult hood. If it breaks, it will definitely be my son's fault. It seems very hardy, sturdy and well made. Honestly I like it better than my grown up furniture. Photos on LON's website accurately show this collection."
