Light blanket

Nice but smelly.
"I ordered three of these blankets. One twin and two crib sized. They have a great thickness to them and are very soft. I don't use a dryer and haven't had any problems with shedding. I'm glad that I have them but I have one major complaint. All 3 of the blankets had a horrible plastic/chemically smell when I took them out of the packaging. I had to wash them multiple times to get rid of the smell. I was surprised that no one else had mentioned this in the reviews when I was purchasing."

Crib blanket
"I got the crib size blanket for my son and I absolutely love it. It is the exact size I like for a crib, bigger than the mattress on all sides but not overkill. It is so soft and a great weight. It will be good alone is spring/summer or doubled up with other blankets in the winter. Very glad I purchased this!!"

Nice blanket
"Yes, the blanket sheds a lot in the drier. But I have not had any problem with it shedding on the bed, when it is in use. It is a nice light weight for summer, and of course can be layered with other bedding for colder months. I wish I'd been able to get the more fun colors, such as blue, at the sale price, but the natural is useful too. We'll see how it holds up over time - I'm not sure if the shedding portends long-term problems with this textile, or not."

Warm Layering Blanket
"I bought this blanket for my son to add an extra layer for the cold winter nights in our old farmhouse in Maine. It fits well and is big enough to tuck in. Like other reviewers said, it did pill a lot in the dryer. After a month of use on my son's bed, as a layer between his top sheet and down comforter, the pilling has not been a problem. It is very soft, a nice neutral color, was a great price, and I love that it is made with organic cotton."

Sheds horribly!
"The other reviews about how much this blanket sheds are spot on. Though soft and large (hence the 2 stars), after 7 washes, the shedding has finally tapered off enough so that my dryer is not full of lint however little fibers still shed on my son's pajamas and bed after a night's sleep. We've put this away and will use as a moving blanket."

super soft and washable
"The season has not required use yet, but out of the bag and out of the dryer this is a nicely draping supersoft blanket that I am proud to put on my kids bed. Also am proud to support organic production."

Disappointed
"I really wanted to love these blankets, but the shedding is just to much. Its all over my house.I don't know what else to do but send them back. I bought 4 of them but only opened 1 so the other 3 will be going back."

Love these blankets
"I agree with the other reviewer that they shed a surprising amount when they are first washed, but I haven't found them to shed outside of the initial wash. They are warm and soft, and a nice weight. I have all three sizes, and use the twin as a couch throw - we love these!! Plus, I LOVE that these are organic."

I've been buying from Land of Nod for years.. BUT!
"WARNING WITH THESE BLANKETS:
VERY disappointed in the lack of quality in these blankets!!
I Bought these organic cotton blankets, washed and dried per directions-COULD NOT GET RID OF MASSIVE shedding and fuzz!! My dryer was FILLED and overflowing with all the fluff and shedding of these cotton blankets(for three washes)
I only kept washing HOPING to get rid of the fluff and lint all over blankets b/c it was getting everywhere in my house!
Hands down the WORST blanket I've ever bought.
*** Sent back.. SATISFIED with Customer Service and (MANY) previous Land of Nod purchases ..."
