Beautiful but a little Tricky
Date - October 20, 2009
"I bought these for our preschooler who was having some difficulties with speech and his therapist was doing rhyming words to help him learn. They are very beautiful sturdy pieces but they just have a couple of things that would make them better: 1) the colors are very similar to each other for example I was trying to have him learn to match the pieces by colors and there are several that are very similar blues or greens that make it very hard to learn that way 2) some of the words/pictures aren't intuitive like in one picture a bug might be a bee and in another its just a bug or may be a version of a word they might not learn for a couple more years. So the paradox is that for little ones just learning who might need rhyming sounds this may be a bit complicated but for older ones it might be too simple."

Not my 3 year old
Date - October 14, 2008
"I love the sturdy, colorful pieces. The pairs match with the color background as well as their rhyming counterpart. We have 4 and 5 year old friends who like this puzzle, but my 3 year old has not yet shown interest in it. We will pull it out again when he is a bit older."

My go to gift...
Date - April 10, 2008
"Love this game. My daughter didn't understand how to rhyme and I just got more and more frustrated each time I tried to teach her. She got this as a gift and learned how to rhyme after a few tries. Now I buy this for all of her friend's birthdays!"
