"I bought this for my 19 month old daughter when she was first born sence I was living with my parents at the time it was parfect to have in my room. I'm not expecting my second child but live in my own home now so all in all this is a wonderful bassinet and Im inlove with it."

"While the purchase of this bassinet felt like a splurge - now that our baby is here, I am so happy I have it! It is both well-made and beautiful, and it must be comfortable as well - considering how well my daughter sleeps in it! In a world of cheaply-made plastic baby products that cost way too much, it is nice to find some things that are still made so beautifully!"

"The white nod bassinet is exceptional quality - this is not a flimsy item! I purchased it for my first grandchild with the hope it would become a family heirloom. After using it, I now know without a doubt it will be passed from one generation to the next.
It is a truly beautiful bassinet. The useful storage is tastefully hidden behind the skirt, and the rocking feature is the cherry on top!

The Finishing Touch!

"Our son was born while my husband & I lived in the city and we didn't have the room for a bassinet. Now, we live in a home in the suburbs and the FIRST thing I wanted for the nursery and our second baby was a bassinet to complete my "dream" room!
This is the most transitional piece in the room! Not only can it be in our master bedroom for the first few months, but it can also be transported during the day to which ever room I am in. When our Daughter finally out grows the bassinet, it will make a beautiful home for her stuffed animals, dolls or perhaps one day another brother or sister?"

"I have beautifull pictures of my son in it and I have received a lot of compliments on this bassinet. He used it for day naps untill he was 4 months old and was able to roll over. (He slept with mommy at night). I think it can last through multiple children and even make it to the next generation because of its classic-romantic design."

"We were debating between this one and one at another store. We are so happy we went with this one. It arrived in perfect condition, and it is really great that it rocks. There is a shelf underneath that is a perfect hiding place for extra diaper supplies, and toys."

"I love this bassinet! it was great to be able to keep our baby in our bedroom during those first few months. Its such a beautiful piece of furniture that I would love to hand down throughout the years. Our son was born big, 11 lbs., so he was only able to sleep there the first three months. But I'm sure it would last longer with a normal sized baby."

"Not only did this bassinet look very pretty, it was also very functional. The shelf on the bottom (under the skirt) is large and holds a lot. I kept a supply of diapers, wipes, lotions, etc. under it. I was originally concerned that the bassinet would rock when the baby moved, but it was very sturdy and only rocked when I wanted it to. With the handles, it was easy to move the bassinet from room to room. I would definitely recommend this bassinet to others."

most charming bed ever

"I live in an older house with modern furnishings. I had a hard time deciding how to furnish my first babies nursery. I wondered if it look too old fashioned to have a basket bassinette and lots of Jenny Lind furniture. Not at all! I have adored this piece from day one. It has lent a charming bit of life to our home and I am only sad that my baby has now moved into his crib. I think I'll have to have another baby now. It feels sturdy and functional while being absolutely precious to look at. The little hood is nice to block out some of the world while allowing them to look around a bit. The linens are absolutely top quality and beautiful as well."

An Heirloom Piece that's Practical, Too

"My husband and I bought this bassinet and bedding set with a gift certificate that we received from our shower. We were hesitant because it was an expensive piece, but we were so glad that we did. It is very sturdy and well constructed -- I've seen other models at PBKids and other stores, and they do not compare to the quality of this piece. We received so many compliments on the piece, but most importantly, our daughter slept so soundly here. We plan to use it for all of our future children and keep it as a family heirloom. Your child's first few months go by so fast that it is hard to remember them... this piece will preserve these memories."
