Great window seat/bookcase

"I bought the blue cushion to go with the white 3 cube bench. The cushion fits perfectly with two velcro straps. If you use a bin in the cube bench, you won't notice the little bit of hanging strap. The "blue" really is a dark denim blue. Not the same blue as the canvas bins. I think it goes well with the white bench and the navy blue canvas bins even though the blues are different colors. The cushion is thin but it is dense - when I sit on it, I can't feel the bench underneath. My kids love to climb up onto the bench and my little one loves to put her face on the cushion like she's about to fall asleep!"

perfect with the 3-cube bench

"I ordered the red denim cushion to go with the navy 3-cube bench. They look terrific together and I like how the cushion is made to sit snuggly (with the velcro straps) on the bench - this is a key feature! The color was just as I expected and the fabric seems durable. The only thing I would have liked (and would have then given it 5 stars) is if it had been made a little bit thicker and cushier (it's a firm but thin foam). Perhaps this would have raised the price point and that's why it is what it is. Overall, though, I'm quite happy with it and it looks fantastic with my navy 3-cube bench and shelves that I also ordered."

"I love the bench, construction, size everything is high quality and as expected, except for the cushion cover. The color did not arrive as expected. It describes the cushion as blue (looking like navy canvas on the website), but it arrived to us as a dark denim. Denim fabric, is quite different from blue or navy canvas or cotton. The denim does not match the room we purchased for, but we are going to make due. I also wish there were more colors options for the cushion covers."

"I wrote a great review on the bench but i'm not very satisfied with the cushion.
i ordered the blue one and was expecting it to be a solid navy or dark blue, it's not. it's a denim. i will be making some sort of cover for it because i don't care for a red one either. i wish more options were available being this isn't in my child's bedroom or playroom. it's in our main living area.
also, the velcro straps that attach it to the bench top are a little too long and the excess hangs down."

"These were so well made - my kids used two benches together as a window bench and book storage and the furniture withstood a lot of wear and tear and held up extremely well! Very impressed with the look and quality!"

"I have had this bench for several months now and I just love it. I purchased it for our daughter's room as a seat under her window. I wanted something safe and sturdy, but at a reasonable price. This bench was the perfect fit. It is very stable and the storage value is priceless since my three year old can put stuff away herself and I don't have to worry about her lifting up a heavy lid. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the cushion was very well made and comfortable. The foam is nice and firm. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone."

"The first thing I did when this arrived was open it to see what was damaged. We have had such bad experiences with ordering simoilarly- priced furniture online and having it arrive in bad shape. Then returning it is a hassle because of the size. Not so here! It was so well padded and secure. Thanks for a great experience in that department!
This will be a sturdy and very practical addition to my daughter's room. Instead of using the top for seating, we're placing her giant doll house on top so that it is at eye level, and using the bins beneath for storage of doll house pieces and other toys."

"I bought this bench for my son's room and absolutely love it! I love the dual purpose...extra seating and toy storage. We bought the cushion too and my son loves curling up on it to read. It was relatively easy to put together and is extremely sturdy. I shopped everywhere for an item like this but couldn't find anything close to this quality for the price."

"we have been very pleased with the sturdiness of this bench. in addition to looking great, it is really well-constructed and a very nice, solid piece of furniture. we bought two canvas bins to go with it and in our small playroom it holds an amazing amount of books and toys. our toddler even likes putting his toys away in the canvas bins! we'd highly recommend this product\ and plan to order more furniture from land of nod now that we've seen the high quality of this piece."

"Bought this for our play room. Very easy to assemble and very sturdy; nice quality. Square box games fit perfectly in each cube, so it helps a lot to keep things organized. Did not buy bins but might in future for storage of other items. The cushion makes it double purpose, as the kids sit there to play or read."
