We've done the unthinkable with our new upholstered bed. If our research is correct, when a kid is told to make this bed, they often say thank you. Love these beds
"I bought these twin beds for my 1 and 3 year old boys. I love them as they are low to the ground (so no harm when the boys fall out of bed) and the colors/patterns make the room more fun. They were also easy enough for my husband to assemble on his own."

The good and the bad
"We bought this bed for my daughter's big girl bed. I love the look of the bed with its softness and color (we bought a queen in charcoal). It looks so pretty in my daugter's room, which is a very lt pink with off-white and a hint of charcoal curtains.
The delivery and setup from the delivery company was quick and easy, although they put a small scratch in the hardwood floor in my daughter's room.
There are a few aspects of the bed that need to be improved. First of all, my husband was changing the sheets and went to reach under the fitted sheet to tuck it in and he cut himself on the bolts. Although the bolts are rounded, the edges are very sharp. I worry what would happen if my daughter's little foot slipped between the mattress and the bed frame. I called the company and they offered to come out and put in new hardware. However I got the new hardware in the mail and it's exactly the same and has the same edges, so not sure why I would change it out. We decided to just cover the bolt heads with duct tap for a quick fix.
Another issue is that the support under the bed isn't the strongest. My husband was sitting on it with my daughter and rolled back with her while holding onto her and the whole support fell to the ground. He's not a giant man by any means (6 foot tall and average build). We had to pull the mattress off and put the supports back in place.
Again, we love the look of the bed, but not sure if the construction is top-notch."

Timeless Bed
"I work as a designer in the Chicago area and my clients that have purchased this bed love how 'grown up' it looks and feels for their kids rooms. As an easy transitional, effortless style, this bed set up is a great investment. This can easily be re-upholstered and repurposed to another child, or bedroom.
It's definitely low slung - so the little ones can easily climb in and out of- so great for toddlers."

Love this "big girl" bed
"We purchased the As You Wish Upholstered bed in hot pink/white chevron for our almost 3 year old daugher. She is obsessed with her 'big girl bed' and won't stop talking about it. The quality of the bed is fantastic and the pattern is perfect for transitioning from nursery to toddler room (and will take her to the teen years). Terrific quality, terrific buy!!"

Really sturdy and nice
"I ordered this in the Capri blue seeing spots pattern and love the fabric. The bed is very high quality. I was surprised how low to the ground it is though, it definitely looks like a kids bed. Perfect for us now for our 5 year old but not a bed we will be able to keep forever. If you are buying it for a teenager I would suggest seeing it in the store first to make sure it doesn't look too young."

Upholstered Bed
"I purchased this bed for my 3 year old son and it is fantastic. It's perfect for a little one and will grow with him well into Highschool. It's well made and timeless. This is my first "major" purchase from Land of Nod and I'm sure to return!"
